Just heard that the Dixie Chicks scored five nominations; who in their right minds would vote for these Anti-American stooges? The system evidently was hacked... Justin Timberlake was also nominated... that seals it: it was either hacked or this is a joke...

YES!!! ItN is BACK BABY!

Anyways, you don't have to point out their political stance, all you needed to say was "who in their right minds would vote for those no-talent, vastly overrated, couldn't sell out a concert hacks"

btw, the Grammy's have been a joke for YEARS

You gotta be shitting me. Justin Timberlake put out arguably the most daring and enjoyable pop album of the last 5 years. Justin Timberlake is America. If you hate JT, you hate America, you America hater.

The Simpsons have been ragging on it for 13+ years.

Homer: Here you go, kid...
Bellhop: Wow, a major award! Aww, it's a Grammy...

[Homer throws Grammy off balcony]
[Guy down below throws it back]
Guy: Don't throw your trash down here!

Starland Vocal Band. That's all I've got to say about the Grammys.

call me communist, but i actually like the whole idea of freedom of speech combined with a decent voice and good rhythms a la Dixie Chicks...

i thought it was rather brave actually, and withal a very well composed album...

but seriously, liking the dixie chicks scored me many points with the female persuasion at college. my ladyfriend liked to listen to them, i didn't mind them, so that was that. ...of course, the drawback now is that, for some reason, i get a little turned on when i hear natalie maines' vocals in songs off their earlier albums.:D :o

1. The Dixie Chicks represent the majority of Americans with their disapproval of President George W. Bush.

2. Justin Timberlake's album is excellent.

Do the Dixie Chicks include their philosophy in the songs they sing (acceptable) or is it just in speeches between numbers (unacceptable) to the ticket buyers who paid to see them perform? Are they pulling a Barbra Streisand, who decided to waste valuable time during her recent high-priced concert tour shooting her trap off and having a Bush look-alike stumble around on stage?

People pay to see these acts perform. Period.

well, it's more like they're around again.
they broke up a few years back, just got back together and released an album. It's probalby their best one, so if you liked their first two I'd get this one.
I saw them about 3 months ago. they can still bring it.

Both... all three broads incorporate anti-American rhetoric in their songs and in their speeches and public comments... they are hardly from Dixie anymore and they have destroyed any respect that they may have had... surprisingly before these honeys became leftist, their music was actually pretty good..but now no self-respecting American would give them the time of day... I saw a men's urinal in Richmond with a bumper sicker of the "chicks" placed right next to the toilet mint... good aim point...

Babs is over the top... she's gone completely leftist... surprised she's Jewish actually... I would have expected some of her friends to knock some sense into what's left between her ears... the sad things about Babs is that her singing voice no longer works so her whole schtick is to bash bush... I'd pay good money to go to one of her concerts and stand front and center with a BUSH IN 2008 sign...! I bet that Bozette would flip out...

ahh yes, the good ol' "if you don't agree with my politics, you must be anti-american" blanket. tell me, which is more anti-american?

- disagreeing with the politics of another and speaking out about it
or
- openly declaring that if you aren't completely with us, then you're against us.
