HYPOTHETICAL

We are in a temp stadium for a few years. The supporters section is in free standing metal bleachers. Something like this.http://brownunited.com/bleachers/photos/BLEACHERS-11.jpg

How can we turn it into our home?

Cover it with people.

Seriously though, you get enough people in there and it won't matter that they're just metal bleachers. Well, as long as they're sturdy I suppose...otherwise it could be nasty. They need to "field test" them with a bunch of big guys jumping up and down on them before they turn us loose on them.

I'm curious if there will be anywhere to hang banners/signs. Guess we'll know all that soon enough.

speaking of that, can we honestly start having SOMETHING at every game banner wise, I mean we've done well on the flags and stuff at times, but the Forza Wiz banner is at like 5 games a season. Can't we get a few banners out there? Especiallly now that we'll be in a venue where the team controls the game day experience.

Sounds like a good off-season project. Did you just volunteer to head that up? ;)

I do have one idea for more of a flag... I don't really have much of a clue for banners. :p

Meant to get back to you on that. The type of flag you're wanting to make is totally doable with a projector, laptop, a blank wall, some paint, and some fabric. I had some similar designs last year, but never got around to making them.

We just need to get a bunch of people together like last year for a day or two and get a few done while drinking beer. I can still order more of the same fabric that we used for the player flags, and I occasionally have access to a projector.

Exactly. I may be crazy here, but I tend to think that with minor layout alterations, if it works on a flag, it can work on a banner. I'm willing to help out however I can.

But seriously, we need more banners to hang up in the front of the section and maybe back along the upper railing if possible.

I'm willing to offer up my basement for group banner/flag making get togethers again.

This is something David and I talked a lot about last year and we just dropped the ball on it. We were going to make a banner resembling the Macedonian National Flag but blue on white of course with "Wizards" or something in the middle. This is where a decent team shield comes in handy. I don't know if our "new" shield is what we're looking for exactly.

Or we could go with something more off-center like the Imperial Japanese Navy flag (http://www.unet.com.mk/mian/youngest.htm). Opinions?

How about small 3-4 foot blue and white triangle flags on poles attatched to the top of the section, 6 of those along the top with maybe two extra-large poles as bookends with multiple flags. Zipties and PVC is all it will take to do something like that.
