Muse, Coldplay, KanYe West, Talib Kweli, Lupe Fiasco, Shapeshifter, Concord Dawn, basically lots and lots of genres really (Rock, Hip Hop, R n' B, Dance).
To me, good music is good music, irrespective of genre. I'm still a fan of classics like the Beatles and Queen and stuff too :o

SAME!!! :)
I LOVE Queen. I was in their last concert of the Return of the Champions Tour in Vancouver. It was awesome! They haven't scheduled any more concerts so far, so I might have gone to their last ever concert...

Anyone collect vinyls?
Yes I do. Oh wait, they are all gone. :o I'm an old punk rocker and collected a lot of early English punk, LA, NY, DC, SF, Vancouver punk, even punk rock from New Zealand. The only problem is that I lived a crazy punk rock life, so (what a surprise) all my records got trashed - used for beer coasters, ashtrays, dinner plates, stepping stones for the yard, etc.
I never ever imagined at that time (when so many people venemously hated this wonderfully unpleasant music) that decades later it would be huge and people would actually be interested in these old records and be willing to pay vast sums. Oh well. :( :p
What about you, LM89?

^I only just started this year. I just bought around 10 on Amazon yesterday, so that brings my total up to 13. :o I'm collecting old and new, basically, anything I listen to. Oldies, Rock and HipHop/Rap. Albums only though, no "7 singles.

Never actually tried to see how many, but it's probably over 200 LPs, i stopped counting when i was at 170 a few years ago.I got 70s, 80s rock, pop, funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, movie soundtracks etc. I might take pics and post here later. :)
I started buying records as a hobby, then went into a more professional route with audio/music, and kept buying and buying...i usually am in second hand stores twice a month. :D

btw: Aerosmith is by far my favorite band. Saw Lynryd Skynryd in concert a couple months ago. Awesome!

Just kidding, I enjoy lots of different stuff, including everything you like above.

I do love rap & flamenco. *another strange sentence in a very strange forum*

Awesome. I grew up with them always on my turntable playing over and over again. But I don't like them so much now that their songs include string orchestras...:P But Joe Perry was an original rock-riff god.
Saw Lynryd Skynryd in concert a couple months ago. Awesome!

Oh, you would have to pick the ONE song of theirs that I absolutely loathe! Every time I hear the words "What song is it you wanna hear?" I scream "NOT FREEBIRD!!!"
And yes.......I am an old hippie LOL. Did I mention I enjoy folk music, too? Another of my favorite groups was Simon & Garfunkle (to me, The Boxer was their best ever).
Loved Queen, too. I have some really great memories of their songs. The best one has to be during the final seconds of home games for the great Chicago Bulls team of old.......Steve Kerr bouncing the ball in tune to the "dut dut dut.........another one bites the dust" as the Bulls added another "W" to their sheet. Ahh, sniffle, I remember that every time I hear that song. In my mind, that song will forever be linked to the Chicago Bulls.

Oh thank god! Okay, maca fixed the bench and I have a basket of fresh enchiladas so we're all good now. Back to peaceful duck feeding. :)

Me too. I like to loudly sing the S&G harmonies when I'm driving in my car. Unfortunately, I sing REALLY BAD so I have to keep the windows rolled up or people will throw rocks at me. :(

Me too. When Wayne's World did the Bohemian Rhapsody-in-the-car scene I was shocked. I didn't know if I should call my lawyer to sue for stealing scenes from me & my friends' life, or if I should be glad to realize that kids all over the world were doing the exact same thing when that song came out. A lot of good times were had listening to Queen. :D

As some of you know the Eurovision (music contest) was held last week and the winner was Serbia.
However i just saw that The Sun (i think its a english newspaper) reported that the song was stolen from an albanian song.
The winning song was "Molitva by Marija Serifovic" and they say its stolen from "Ndarja by Soni Malaj"
Here is the video so judge yourself:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgMyoaVhR20
IMO the song sounds were similar, the text is different ofc but the rythm and the way she's singing it is very similiar to the albanian one.
The compositor of the albanian song (who is macedonian) said that the winning song was stolen atleast 50% from his song.
Serbia's (then SCG) Eurovision winning song, Lane moje, 2 years ago was also stolen from a turkish song.
Tell me what you think about it :D

...the Eurovision...
I read the Eurovision got half the viewing audience in Britain at it's peak last weekend (while the Real Madrid - Espanyol game was on!). It is literally mindless.

Don't really listen to alot of music, but lately i've been listening to Rhapsody alot.
Only other similar band i've liked is Therion, which i had a "phase" for about 2-3 years back :)
Generally i listen to electro-techno like daft punk, chemical brothers, prodidgy and in between some classical music.
