PSV or Roma?
Why Rick? Best places to travel?!

I am hoping for Celtic or Lille!

I want to advance!!!! Maybe we'll get our feet under us by then!

I don't think that's actually Rick, although I may be mistaken.

Personally, I'm only worried about Barca. Last year we were all nervous about RM, and we handled them.

We always seem to play to our opponents level, tonight notwithstanding. So I'd hate to see us take on one of the minnows, not get up for the game, and give up a goal in the last 10 min. when we should have shut the opponent down, or put three past them. It seems that this season we've done well when our backs were up against it, and I'm thinking of the games against Tottenham (we were on a terrible run) and against Manchester United.

Of course things may change, err, they will have changed, by February.

That's not Rick. Someone's stolen his avatar! That will not do!

I would like to draw Barca but only if all our players are fully fit and firing on all cylinders. If that's the case, I'm sure we'll beat them.

Otherwise, Celtic or Lille should do nicely.

I completely agree...I think that those are the two weakest teams that Arsenal match up well against. I hope everyone knows what I mean by that, I don't feel like explaining myself.

Barca always get grudge rematches so it wouldnt surprise me that we draw them in the next round - unfortunately eto'o will be back by then. Every single one of these teams can be a real threat, especially Roma on a good day.

For arguments stake

1. Lille

2. PSV

3. Celtic

4. Roma

5. Inter

6. Barca

7. Real

Clear favorites over the top 3, not that it would be easy but neither Italian team really concerns me. Call me crazy but I’d rather play with the re-match then against it

The real rick won't want PSV as he's been there too many times.

Give me barca, I want blood.

My first choice would be to get Celtic.
After that:
(2.) PSV

(3.) Lille

(4.) Roma

(5.) Real

(6.) Inter

(7.) Barca

I think drawing Roma would suit our style of play, and we can definitely beat them as long as everyone is healthy in Feb

******** 'em. We'll take them all on, one at a time or all together. Real, we've beaten before, Barca we owe big time, Celtic'll get destroyed at our place, we really ought to beat Lille, PSV and Roma, and that only leaves Inter.

Come on!!

(Just trying to inject a bit of excitement after last night...;) )

Any one of them besides Barca, Inter, and Real will do

Agreed Miles. We draw who we draw, worry about the match after the balls have come out of the bag.

Now THERE'S a thought to be worried about :D

If we have to face Barca, now is the time, they've got alot of injuries to key players. My guess is it will be Barca or Roma in the next round. I'd be tempted to go if its Roma, as i've never been, but the horror stories i've heard about away matches in Italy make me nervous.

Iīd say Celtic is the best pick, we would eat them whole, and it would still be a game of great entertainment, battle of brittain and all that.

Other good picks would be Lille and PSV, since that would definately take us to the next round. Not that spectacular games though.

Roma is a tough team, and I wouldnīt wanna be up against them, but their still among the easier teams in the next round.

Inter is good this year, but I think we have a good chance. Wouldnīt like us to pick them though.

Barcelona is kind of weak right now, but will probably be stronger when itīs time to play the next round. I wouldnīt want to play them, but rather now then later on.

Real Madrid is a nightmare. They look really strong, and would be a really tough match.

All in all there is a couple of easier games, and a lot of tough ones, but I donīt feel that any obstacle is to tough. Cīmon arsenal.

Celtic would be my hope. They are fun to watch and should make for a great match.
