Hey, we got a NSR forum, we might as well make a thread like this to kick off its usefulness :D:

Name: Konrad E.
DOB: 07/05/87
Nationality: New Zealand, Filipino
Country: New Zealand
Occupation: Student
Personal Football History: I only play casually now :o, but when I was younger I was a striker, we had an awesome awesome team, these were the days of kick and chase, but we had a wicked coach (his son was a NZ under-whatever rep, but not All Whites, our national team) and we played tactics very well, won most games like 13-0 or such, I always scored afew, we were fit as hell players, I remember our end season record was like 16W-2D-0L, it was great. Then we got a new coach who decided to reshuffle the team, and for some reason I was put in central defense, and since our offense was so good, all us defenders got lazy and unfit haha! Shortly after that I stopped playing, and only now play casual twightlight/indoor/5on5, etc. Looking into getting fit over this summer and joining a club when I go back down to Uni.
Teams You Support: Just Real Madrid generally. I am a fan of some other teams, or at least their players, when I get the chance to see them (ie. Werder Bremen, Inter), but I only nail my flag to the Madridista flag!
Players You Like: Huge fan of Zizou, Beckham (got both their shirts from 04/05 season), Raul, Robinho and probably Kaka. In pure favouritism ranking I would rate it as Zizou, Kaka, Beckham. All three of those players have had all their virtues relatively thrashed to pieces in psuedo analysis over the internet so I won't bother haha.
Why Do You Support Real Madrid: I remember watching the 2002 Champion's League final, and watching Zizou score that incredible goal, and seeing that goal made me realise just how incredible football is. Then the World Cup came after and Ronaldo enchanted myself (just like nearly everyone else) with his sublime World Cup, and from then on I followed Madrid, devouring highlight clips and season DVD's, et al. The whole 'galactico' policy made a romantic out of me also (you can call me a consumer :D). Of course, here in New Zealand, 'soccer' is not so hugely followed, just the EPL, so when Beckham transfered over to Madrid, we got all the exposure. Anyway, that about sums it up for now. I'm enjoying the new Madrid, Hala Madrid!

Teams You Support: Real Madrid
Players You Like: Raul, Zidane, Ramos, C. Ronaldo, R10
Why Do You Support Real Madrid:
Real Madrid is the sole reason that I got into watching soccer. I still remembered the days when I think that watching sports was the most boring thing that any body could ever do (was I wrong!). Then came in the match - CL final 02/03 (CMIIW). That was the first time I've seen a match that wonderful ever (at that time). That goal from Zidane, perfectly brilliant! the play between him in R.Carlos, simply magnificent. Ever since that match, I watched a lot of soccer and became a fan of Real Madrid. I didn't even know at first that Real Madrid is the best team in the world. I'm so glad I watched that match.

Occupation: Studying Computers Science (1 year left) and working as a Tests Analyst
Personal Football History: I started playing when I was very young and I was a great keeper. Played in that position till I was 14.

Back to football at 17, but not as a goalie anymore.
Have been playing like mad since then (I'm 22 now).

Can't dribble to save my life, but I have good pace, stamina and average shooting (I use both legs too).

Lucio thinks he can go attacking, so why would that stop me? :D
Well, I can pretend I'm going one way and then turn to the other side, but I don't have the footwork to do stepovers or things like that.
What helps me is that I can use both feet quite well, so that gives me and advantage because I can always run either side and kick from there.
It's easy to mark someone when you know which side they are going to cut to shoot (hello Adriano!).
My roots go to Italy and Spain, so I'm gonna blame my incompetence on the Europeans :D

Name: Gonzalo
DOB: Back in '82
Nationality: Spanish
Country: Canada
Occupation: Student & so many part-time jobs I lost count
Personal Football History: Played since I was a kid in the school playground. Played more or less competitively in my last two years of high school back in Spain (Pozuelo municipal league). Played university intramurals for a couple of years, but lost the competitive drive to keep playing competitive men's games. I'm also a paid referee for intramural leagues. Might get back into an indoor league (this is Canada, eh) in the winter, but at this point I play to socialize more than to compete.
In 11-a-side I usually play free attacking mid or support striker, or fall to the wings if necessary. I have decent vision and creativity, good passing, and I can dribble somewhat and cross OK (including set pieces). I'm also almost 1.90m, so at worst I'll attract some cover in set pieces, and at best I might actually head it. I can't use my left foot to save my life (which is why I have perfected the right :D) and I don't have much speed or stamina. If this was FM2007, my right attributes column would be dismal.
Teams You Support: Real Madrid, Malaga, Spain NT. I'm also partial to Arsenal and curious about Toronto FC.
Players You Like: Zidane above all others. Michael Laudrup (duh) above all but Zidane. Beyond those two, the list of players I admire or enjoy watching is just too long. Of the current RM, I was a huge admirer of Beckham and Cannavaro well before we signed them, I think RC and Casillas are probably the best I've ever seen in their respective positions, and I'm coming to adore Ramos. Oh, and I'm a big big time raulista.
Why Do You Support Real Madrid: My parents don't really like football, but my uncle and my cousin, who live two doors down from my parents' back in Spain, are big time madridistas. My uncle's a socio from birth and has a socio number in the low 1000s by now. I followed in their footsteps, followed the team for years and became a socio and season-ticket holder by the age of 13. I would've done it earlier except back in the day we had standing-only spots and I needed to be tall enough to see above the row of people in front of me ;)

Name: Alan
DOB: August 31st 1989 ...yup...I'm young
Nationality: English/Canadian/Hong Kong
Country: England/Canada/Hong Kong ...it's complicated
Occupation: Student
Personal Football History: I play wingback, right or left, doesn't really matter. I can also play defensive midfielder. I'm right footed but I can cross and shoot well with my left. I am quite creative but can only make use of it through long balls but can't really hit a pass on the ground as well as I can in the air. My best attributes are crossing and my first touch, and while my long shots are powerful, they often lack accuracy. I accelerate quickly, am relatively fast, agile (due to my height, low centre of gravity), strong (for my size) but have crap stamina.
Teams You Support: Real Madrid
Players You Like: Raul, Robinho, Zidane, Kaka, Roberto Carlos.
Why Do You Support Real Madrid: I used to chill out a lot with my cousin, and my uncle was a Real Madrid supporter and we used to watch matches all the time. I've been a supporter since '98.
