Is anybody interested in a big soccer meet up? I know some of the other supporters groups in different areas have done it and some of the other message boards I have been on have done it so I thought it would be interesting for us to do it.
I think it would be fun to get together discuss MLS expansion, the silverbacks, the new US coach and the future of US soccer etc...
I was thinking one of the upcoming US friendlies at the brewhouse cafe. we could meet up early and have some pints and some lively discussin before the game. The summer games are too far away to start making plans and I hope to attend atleast one of the Gold Cup games.
So what do you guys think are you interested? If you live in the atlanta area and have not been to the Brewhouse you are missing out.

I think its a good idea. For those of you wondering, YES, I know I mentioned this a long time ago and you haven't heard much about it since, but I am still working with a partner on getting a website up and organizing a group of Atlanta based MLS fans. I am finishing my last semester of graduate courses right now though, so I don't have time to work on it. But next week I'll have more time and we can start to discuss things like this.

I'm 30... the crowd is usually pretty mixed as far as ages but it is 18 and older to get in the brewhouse becuase of the smoking ordinance lightly enforced unless you try and order alcohol
I've seen young kids there in the morning for the EPl games with their parents from time to time but they usually sit outside
as long as your somewhere between 18 and 80 you should be fine
are you from Peru? my girlfriends Uncle is from Peru and their two adopted daughters I was kicking the soccer ball around at their house in Atlanta on thanksgiving.

I'm not that a kid. ;) I'm 22. I'm a regular at the Brew for the big games. Great atmosphere. I guess it's not that bad if mostly everyone is around the late 20's to mid 30's range. I'll try to make it. :)
EDIT: Ye, I'm peruvian. I've got soccer in my blood :D

Yeah, love the atmosphere there. I usually go for the big EPL games on Sundays and sometimes the WC Qualifiers. Grab a pint of Boddington and enjoy the match. I was just wondering how old were most of you guys, but I see it's not that bad. :D I'll try to make it.
So that means your girlfriend is peruvian also?
