Talented player, could do a job at a bigger club such as Arsenal or Man Utd. Very technically accomplished, like an old scholl player. Neat passer and scored goals from midfield.

Djalminha......

Remember him?

.

He is. He's shocking. He shouldn't even be in the EPL. He's clumsy, his reading of the game is poor, his concentration is the stuff nightmares are made of, he's not a strong as he should be because his balance is so bad and his passing is casual and inaccurate.

There really is no hope for him. He lloked so good when he first came through but he just isn't up to it at this level.

Kevin Doyle.

Can I change my score? I am a hold out though...it's mental.

Never heard of Djal-whatever his name is

Sylvain Distin

Djalminha is a Brazilian legend. This thread is for Premiership players only, guys.

Distin - 78/100. Very strong defender, terrific in the air. He's one of the only good things at City this season and, along with Dunne and Richards, is the reason that they aren't going down [currently:D].

Since no one answered previously, I'll try again:

Adel Taarabt, 17/18 year old at Tottenham on loan from Lens.

Can't rate a player who I think has only played once from the subs bench, better ask people in the Totteham forum. :D

And I wondered why Djal-whatever sounded so familiar :D

Jerzy Dudek

Dudek - 70/100. Very good for a back-up keeper, obviously can do the business as he's got a Champions League medal. However, he's lacked consistency and rarely features these days.

This would be more fun if other people jumped in, it is pretty easy ya know. I'm running out of players since so many have been mentioned so far. How about...

Leighton Baines

Strong defender...needs to watch concentration-can be amazing. 7/10

I'd give him 7/10 too....if he didn't have the mental age of a small child. If he had just 2 ounces of sense he'd be the perfect defender but sadly he's a retard

You're saying my ratings are shit and boring! ;)

Overrated IMO, I think he will be one of those players who can never make it to the big time. Like most promising England U-21s. 6/10 Good shot, decent offensively and defensively, but nothing spectacular.

Great story, and a very hardworking player, but lacks the ability to cut it at the top level, IMO. 6/10

91/100. Really emerged the end of last season after showing he had quality. It sucks for him and the Arse that he's struggled with injuries. Top quality player, but [Edited] in general.

Will always cause trouble because of his size and strength. Not really a goal scorer though. Needs a little man playing next to him to makwe them most of what he offers.

Steed Malbranque

Good ball control, movement, flair, intelligent play. Better than average, not world class. 80/100

It's in the first post of the thread. Not to mention, being the Premiership forum, that's sort of a common sense thing.

Tugay Kerimoglu

Good for the odd wondergoal now and then. Otherwise a decent midfielder but not much more.

Shay Given

Solid, consistent keeper for club and country. Not exactly a superstar, but he's always in the top 10 of premiership keepers.

Stilian Petrov

Disagree with Ben, Given is underrated and one of the top few in the league. He's better than van der Sar for me, just because VDS plays for ManUre now doesn't make him the best in the league. Where was the praise when he was with Fulham? ManUre only bought him because he was a cheap-ish stop gap. Given is a superior player. Just wanted to jump in with that.

Stilian Petrov (because I don't feel like rating him so the next person can do it:D )

Hasn't really found his feet yet in the Prem, IMO, but a talented all-round midfielder and when he's on he can be excellent

70/100 when he's on. All pace, dribbling is decent. Nothing special.
