Main headlines: This is from Skysports.com Thierry Henry wants Arsene Wenger to sign SWP on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window. Henry feels Arsenal is too 'lightweight' compared to Manchester United and Chelsea and feels we should bolster our squad with establised stars from big teams who are not getting enough play time on the pitch. SWP is definatley one who lacks games and play time at the moment and feels his career his suffering because his not getting enough games under his belt. This is a our chance to add to our squad for the new year, we must not let this oppertunity slip away. Liverpool missed out on him last season, lets not do the same mistake.

Other headlines: We are also linked with Micah Richards from Manchester City, reports say that he is unsettled in Manchester but quickly dismissed it. But this tells me that he wants a move to a bigger Club, Chelsea and Liverpool are also monitoring his situation at Man City. I'd be happy for him to join either Arsenal or Chelsea as long as he gets first-team football.

Other headlines: Another youngster i'm keen on us signing is Freddie Adu from DC United, accoring to the Daily Mail Manchester United have rejected Freddy Adu after he spent a week on trial at Old Trafford. Chelsea is also monitoring Adu's progress. Freddie hasn't been impressive as people have hoped but if there is a manager that can get the best out of a youngster with talent it's Arsene Wenger. We've got to sign all 3 of these guys, plus Curtis Davies and Nigel Reo-Coker who we have been linked to for some time now.

Out: I expect us also to sell some players that are not worth keeping, these names are; Flamini, Adebayor, Gilberto, Baptista, Djorou, Gallas, Lauren, Eboue, Ljunberg, Song, Denilson, Toure.

This is how our Premiership first team could look:

.......................Lehmann

Richards.........Davies.........Senderos.......Clichy

...........................Reo-Coker

Walcott .............. .................... Fabregas ......................van Persie

........Adu......................Henry

Subs:
Aluminia
Rosicky
Wright-Phillips
Hoyte
Hleb

Reserves: Larsson, Lupoli, Bendtner, Muamba

Our Champions League first team could look like this:

.........................Lehmann

Richards.........Davies..........Senderos..........Clichy

..........................Reo-Coker

.....Fabregas...............................Rosicky

Wright-Phillips .............................van Persie [/COLOR]

............................Henry

Subs:
Almunia
Walcott
Adu
Hoyte
Hleb

Our Carling Cup starting line up could be looking like this:

.................................Almunia

Hoyte.............Connelly............O’Cearuill...........Garry

...........................Muamba

Stokes...........Larsson .................. Merida Perez ........Lupoli

.......................... Bendtner

Subs:
Poom
Simpson
Randall
Butcher
Rodgers

Looking at these team sheets, this is exciting times if we make the right signing's, with Reo-Coker, Adu, and SWP signed on a perminant deal we'll have the team to win the Premiership and the Champions League, plus with Bendtner, Stokes, Larsson and Muamba back from thier season long loans then we'll definately win the Carling Cup. The futures bright!:)

Is this a serious post? I am going to assume I missed the sarcasim because to suggest we sell Toure, Gallas, Gilberto, Eboue, etc. is just crazy.

We are not getting Adu

Nor would Arsenal need him.

1. He's not 18 so he's not going to Europe before next summer's transfer window.

2. He was never on trial with ManU. He was there for training. MLS sends people over to England all the time for training sessions that are not formal tryouts. Adu's training sessions are being hyped solely because it's Adu and it's ManU.

3. Issues of Adu's talent aside, the last thing Arsenal needs is another small, underweight midfielder.

Sell Flamini, Gilberto, Baptista, Gallas, Lauren, Eboue, and Toure?

The fact alone that you support both Arsenal and Chelsea proves that you don't know what you are talking about.

Please go spam the Sp*ds board.

Thanks

Shit, if we can sell players we don't own then the first to go should be Ronaldinho simply for the price-tag.

Well, according to his profile, he'd love to meet Cashley. Granted I assume most Arsenal fans would love to meet up with him too, albeit for different reasons.

High School. I should really start teaching him the importance of English football to millions around the world, and that he should not mock the sport like that.
