Two wins in a row including a mid-week win over Birmingham and Saints are starting to drift towards the top of the table. Can Saints continue their winning ways today away at Hull? I hope so.

Saints starting XI:

Davis
Jesus-Claus-Baird-Bale
Surman-Pele-Wright-Skacel
Rasiak-Jones

Subs: BWP, Viafara, Prutton, Makin, Bart (GK)

I won't be around much for this match today, but it is so far so good for the Saints today. Rasiak put Saints up 0-1 on the 19th minute with a shot from around the penalty area. Bale then put Saints up 0-2 off another fantastic freekick.

Hull 0 Saints 2 after the 37' minute

DDDDAAAAMMMMNNNN!!!

Barnby scores a goal towards the end of the half totally against the run of play to pull back one for Hull. Saints players thought that a freekick was called by the ref but it wasn't.

Hull 1 Saints 2

Hull scores a second goal in under 2 minutes!!!! This now a complete debacle!!! Goes to show that a Saints' fan can never be relaxed while supporting the red and white.

Hull was down to 10 men due to an injury, and Saints were able to cut Hull open again.

Well that is it. Saints win on the road again and are now unbeaten in seven straight matches I believe. Saints are now sitting in 5th place with 36 points and a +10 GD which is just four points from 1st place. Not a bad run and we are finally starting to see what we were hoping for from this squad. Let's just hope they can continue this good run of play next week.

Hull 2 Saints 4 :)

I wouldn't get too excited with a couple of the games like today's at Hull are against weak opposition. BUt Saints last year would've managed to drop points against a few of the easy ones. And more importantly they won some of the bigs games against Wolves and Birmingham.

Saints are in the mix to win the league. This isn't like past years with 1 or 2 teams running away with the promotion spots. Burley's got the boys playing well and they can make it back into the Prem.
