Damn. This movie was one of those that had a big impact on me. Not the movie itself, but that unbelievable soundtrack. I first saw the movie in Germany and went back to see it two or three more times after that. Once I got back stateside, I sought out the record.

After I saw it at the old Biograph in Georgetown I ran to Penguin Feather to look for the soundtrack. Then a few years later I bought the movie. A true classic. RIP Mon....
