It's not just a protest, it's a crime.

I don't have a problem with this at all. More fines and More interest = more tax revenue which = less taxes for me someday (hopefully).

Isn't there a saying about death and taxes?

I am waiting to hear somebody say that they refuse to accept their tax cuts because of their principles.

The smart way to do this would be to put the money in some kind of account, where it would earn interest - anticipating the penalty you would pay when you were caught.

I'm trying to find an example of right-wingers avoiding taxes for stupid reasons, but by golly, I just can't find any on the web. I kill me!

Guess I don't make enough money to get a tax cut.

Damn you're lucky, I got royally farked by the IRS. I paid almost 3 times in taxes for 02 as I did in 01.

Damn lazy ass welfare recipients. Can't they just get a job.

I paid the same number (within $10) in 2002 on taxes as I did in 2001.

That means your household made less than $6000 for the year.

If you made over $6000, you got an extra $600 from the new 10% tax bracket.

You may have forgotten about this because it was given back to you early instead of with your normal tax returns.

Guess I don't make enough money to get a tax cut.

I made a ton more money in 2002 than I did in 2001 and I paid a ton more taxes in 2002 than I did in 2001.

It appears that these protesters strongly support the tax cuts proposed by President Bush. In fact, they apparently think that Bush doesn't go far enough. They want to cut the taxes all the way to zero.

In the spirit of compromise, maybe we can meet them halfway.

Let them refuse paying taxes.

It makes it so much easier to make them pay more later (or face some jail time)
