SAF wasn't so amused with Eric Cantona's comments that Fergie loves United so much he'll die on the bench. Ahead of tonight's game he said:


"I'm not happy with Eric," joked Fergie. "Dying in the dug-out? I hope he means when I'm 92 and sat down!

"I might have to get him on the phone and have a word with him.

"Seriously though, I'm really enjoying this season and I seem to have a new lease of life.

"The important thing is to really enjoy these experiences, because they are fantastic to be involved in."

MANCHESTER (Reuters) - Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says he probably will not watch the game that could decide this season's title race -- because he will be at his grandson's birthday party.

If United beat Charlton Athletic at Old Trafford on Saturday they will be crowned champions for the eighth time in 11 seasons if second-placed Arsenal fail to beat Leeds United on Sunday.

"I don't think I'll be watching the game, I've got my grandson's birthday on Sunday so I'll be at the birthday party," Ferguson told his club's official website on Friday.
