I never thought this show would make it this far. As much as NBC has messed up by constantly changing timeslots, kudos to them for sticking with it.

As I understand it, this will be the final season for Zach Braff, if not the series altogehter.

Yes and no. Braff said that after this season, it will be up to him to determine if he is going to continue with the show...he could decide to do another season or two, but it is up to him. And the producers have said they could do a season without JD being the main character (focusing on Carla and Turk perhaps?), but I cannot imagine this show without Braff.

Bringing back Pop Rocks and N-Sync.

That was a really good episode as it dealt somewhat realistically with the unexpected pregnancy from last season.

The actors playing dual roles was interesting as well.

My newpaper guide also listed it as being in HD so I did update my DVR but alas it wasn't in HD. Was this because of a screw up with my local NBC? Did anyone get it in HD?

I don't know if Timberlake's solo success has given NSync some ironic cache, but "Bye Bye Bye" has been making a comeback of sorts. It's become a karaoke favorite around these parts. People go nuts when they put it on.

There are a lot of stories around why NBC has moved it around so much. Long story short, ABC actually owns the show so NBC gets nothing in syndication, but knows if they cut it loose, a competitor will promote the hell out of it and take advantage of the core following.

This is also the last season because that's pretty much all Bill Lawrence intended. At least that's what he said in one interview a while back.
