A bit down the road but thought I would try to post something actually related to the forum:D not which Chelsea or ManU player sucks or is the saviour.:p

Rooney and either Bent or AJ up front and McSven coaching in the conference is my hope.:D

Haven't bothered to check suspensions or the like but hopefully we will finally see what is arguably England's best XI on the pitch.

------ Rooney - X
Cole - Gerrard - Hargreaves - Lennon
Cole - Terry - Ferdinand - Neville
-------- Robinson

X depends on what other English striker is in the best form at the time.

I'd be content to see that as well. Give Lennon a test against a quality side, give Lamp a rest and lets see if he is England's entire problem  ,.

Would like to see Richards play as well, we all know what Neville can do and no use risking him. As A. Cole will be suspended for the next qualifier would like to Bridge get a run out. Nice to see more young players but that will not happen with McSven and the current pressure on his head.

The under 21s being in the Euro finals doesn't help either on that front. It makes sense to keep as many of them as possible playing together up until the finals, and the Spain game should be a good test for them. 1 or 2 in the first team squad and the rest together sounds like the best option to me.

You and other Chelsea fans say rest, everyone else says dropped for years of poor form. England have been messed around in order to include Lampard, with better players like Gerrard being forced to play out of position in order to suit him. It's time to drop him and play the best players in their best position. If McSven doesn't then England will again be forced to play with 10 men and a dodgy midfield.

Mc Sven will play his best lineup available more than likely... It should look like this if everyone is healthy...I can't see McSven leaving out Lampard though, so he will prob put Gerrard on the right, and Lampard behind Rooney.Leaving Lennon out..

------Robinson------------

Nev--Rio--Terry---A.Cole

----Hargreaves-------

Lennon-----------J. Cole

-------Gerrard--------

----------Rooney
-----Defoe, A.J. or Bent

Anybody know if this will be televised in the States?

It will be televised, the question is, will it be a pay per view game, or will FSC or Setanta run it to those who have their service...If you have Direct TV, then you will have the opportunity to watch it, you may have to pay, but you will have the opportunity..I have FSC, Gol, and Setanta, but I pay extra for these channels. It's well worth it. If it is not on FSC or Setanta, then it will be on pay per view, for $24.99..

Thanks. I have FSC accessible to me, but not the others, so I might end up having to do PPV. That's fine by me though.

According to www.soccertv.com it is on FSC.

As is the Under 21 game on the Tuesday.

Hopefully Foster, although young and inexperienced, will get a chance ahead of Robinson.

I know he won't, but I really wish they would give James a shot as keeper, here would be my starting 11.

---------James

Neville-Ferdinand-Terry-Caragher

Lennon-Hargraves-Gerrard-J.Cole

-----Rooney- Defoe

I'd also like them sub in Downing and Richards in the game.

I don't think Terry has enough match fitness yet. I say put A. Ferdinand partnered with his brother at the back.

Woodgate, if fit, is the most likely to partner Ferdinand.

As for Calamity.... No thank you... We've been down that road too many times. I would't mind seeing someone different in goal, being this is a friendly, say a Carson, Green, Kirkland, Foster , etc....but please no more James...

I thought Joe Cole was injured.

And stop suggesting James. He has had his chances, absolutely no point in him playing in a friendly.

James - No way.

Terry, J Cole and Hargreaves - not match fit.

I think we should go with:

------------Robinson

Richards-Woodgate-Ferdinand-A.Cole

Lennon---Parker---Gerrard-----Barry

-----------Rooney
-----------------Defoe

Substitutions in the second half:

Huddlestone for Parker.
Crouch for Rooney.
Anton Ferd. for his brother.
