A new thread for a new season.
I expect quite a few moves from Big Sam.

You beat me to it!
I think a left back is going to be high on his shopping list what with Fortune unable stay fit, Gardner only just coming back from injury and Pedersen costing us points left right and centre over the last few weeks.

As stated on the old thread French international Vikash Dhorasoo may be on Big Sam's radar.

He's quite a good playmaker, but is already 33 I believe; that's bit old to start a EPL career.

From the gist of the article, sounds like this is simply speculation. I doubt Campo is going anywhere.

Isn't your Central Midfield already pretty full?
If you're in need of a Left Back, I have two words for you: Wayne Bridge.

We couldn't afford Wayne Bridge and I doubt he'd come here.
We have a lot of players in midfield but many are getting a little too old. I doubt Campo, Speed and maybe even Stelios will still be at the club next season. I'd take Duscher in a second.

Where does that leave Teymourian and Diagne-Faye (is he preferred at CB or DM)?
If you can't afford Bridge, how about Southampton's Gareth Bale? He's rated at 7 million pounds by their manager.

Teymourian is 'one for the future', though he's unlikely to ever make the grade. Faye is a preferred CB although he is also very good as a DM.
We couldn't afford Gareth Bale. A Bolton price is around £1.5 million.

Who do you have in mind?
And do you think having 3 quality CB will lead to some dissention or a sale? I remember rumors of Chelsea wanting Ben Haim in the past.

We've decided not to sign Illic.
