ello.....as time passes, i see very often posts asking about sizing comparisons, and in this instance i'd like to ask a question about copa sizing, but thought it may be a good idea to request a specific and accessible sticky thread about sizing issues...any takers?

my question is i'm an 8.5 in preds --> what size copas would you suggest i get?

I put my sizes up, I think it would be a good idea if all the regulars put up what boots they have, what sizes they are, and how they fit (tight, loose, true to size etc). Then if we sticky it people can put their Q's in there.

Not being funny ... BUTTTTT ...

Why can't people go and try the boots on? Yes, a lot of people want to get boots online because they are cheaper. But surely they have sports stores locally that sell the boots where they can go and try them on and see which size fits them before before they order online?

We can put our boots sizes up and how they fit US but buts its not saying that its going to fit a different person the same way kinda thing?

Am I making sense? - lol. I can forgive people asking about boots like V1s that are normally only avaliable online but boots that are widely avaliable on the high street i think people should just stop being lazy and go and try them on that way they are guarenteed a boot which fits!

Sorry for moaning!

Yea I agree, get urself to a store, try them on, politely excuse yourself then get em cheap online! My main take for this is my sizing experiences is the complete opposite of those reported by many of the peeps on here, I wear a smaller vapor than I do a predator for example. PDS has a sizing reference guide, but again for me it's wrong. I have no problem with adding your sizing experiences to the boot review thread, but we got enough sticky topics already....

Not having a pop Guillermo, as I know all your trying to do is clean up the mess the newbies make of the board!

maybe the secret is actually quoting european sizes...at least those are constant-am i right?

this isn't one of my 'spain is better than england' moments....but now, come to think of it... :D

Yea the pools like a mile an a half from my house! And I was part of the campaign that got that ramp put there. My ex girl lived right opposite! But then Tha Bridge is about as big as a shoebox!
And don't ruin my hood rep with all this talk of scones;)

Oh you know you love a sly scone Case!

Yeah im not having a pop either. Just its like Case says. I just have a 6 in all my boots probably because thats the smallest size most companies do in the higher end boots. So i just get on with it and they fit. So i dont see how people need different sizes.

I just think if you take other peoples advise on how boots fits as like the law you may end up disappointed its best to try them on and see whats best for you.

how much is a mile and a half in european? :p

my bad....i'm not the scones type either, instead of eating them, i'm usually doing quick feet and high knees exercises with similar sounding pointy things...

who do you play for up there? maybe next time i'm up, we could have a kick about and go to the wetherspoons and get lean up...gives me an excuse to use this young person's rail card i've shelled out for.

ERmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that Uni sucks then. When I went to Portsmouth a few weeks ago they had a stock market night in the Union. My GOD. The way it works (for those who don't know) is exactly the same as the stock market. The drinks that are in demand (shots, snakebite etc) have higher prices, while the drinks in low demand are cheaper, and it changes every half hour. I was drinking Carling with lime and vodka red bull all night, the most I paid out for one drink was £1.20, and that was for the carling. it was like 80p for the vodka red bull. I got wankered on about a tenner!! Twas great.

Yea but you can pretty much price to your customers and Cambridge still has a high proportion of OLD MONEY students, so they ain't gonna sweat prices so long as they cheaper enough to keep them out of the town pubs and in the students bars. FYI Cambridge has like 150 pubs, which makes it ridiculously dense of boozer per capita im told! oh and the weatherspoons was the biggest pub in Britain, then they opened a rat & parrot around the corner which was deliberately a full 4square meters bigger by having a roof garden!
Well I only play in a sunday pub league, which ain't great standard but I can't play saturdays anymore. But there is always international pickup games on the big green by the swimming pool, which for you history buffs is THE home of football as the first FA rules games was played there! PM me if you comin thru again and we'll hit Parkers Piece and see whats going on.
Thats my bit for tha bridge tourism board!
