But back on topic, the red ABS look kinda orange in the mags to me. Are they like that in person?

As I feel guilty about bringing back the "R&W: Sex Pest" topic, i'll play ball...
As it goes since I posted that I've been in town trying on a pair ob OG colorway absolutes, theres something sooo right about me wearing preds that the disgrace that were the pulses made me forget...They did feel slightly uncomfortable where the top of the boot meets the ankle bone (fibula side), kind of rubbed and dunno how easily that'd break in....
Saying that I should find out first hand, after a few failed ebay attempts to resurrect my gold legend quest I may have to console myself with these sharpish....

Wow, is it my imagination or is there an amazing amount of players wearing the red/white Absolutes, especially in La Liga ! Nearly every player wearing Abs in the Real Madrid vs Valencia match has them on.

does anyone have any personal picture of the black/silver/yellow abs next to the gold/black abs? im debating what color to get and after a month i still can't decide.

Nope sorry, but I think the black/silver/yellow will look best in the long-run. My teammate has the gold/black ones and although they still look ok, the gold has turned a mustard colour and lost all its shine.

i kind of wanted personal picture instead of advertisement pics, but thanks for the post. these boots will not see much action aside from the pick-up games on saturday and sundays. hopefully my match day f50's will be replaced with a pair of miadidas. i have been saving a while. just need to get up to NYC to get them done.

Out of curiosity, how often do they come out with new models of preds?? I don't keep track of how often they change the lines, and was wondering when the next preds are to be expected.

D, do you mean colurway or range?
In terms of ranges (Pulse to Absolute) they usually bring out the new boots a few months before a major tournament, like the WC and Euro 2008.

I did mean how long before new ranges are released. So we're guessing early 08 for the new model?
As well, it seems that they come out with new colorways so damn often. Why do they do them so close together? If new lines comeout every 2 years or so, you'd think they'd spread out the releases of the colorways to hold interest?? F50.6 came out in 06, 50.7 in 07. That seems logical to me. At least they're updating the boot yearly. With the Absolutes, if the next line doesn't come out until early 08, according to Bigg's theory that gives us 6 more colorways of the absolutes??? :confused: Just a thought?
