The Arsenal forum is a good laugh right now if anyone wants to take a look. As usual they expect teams to roll over and die for them, you think they'd be used to playing us by now. Surely the antidote to physical play is to go down at the slighted touch? The problem is that Arsenal do that and still can't compete with us.

It's also laughable that they don't know their place. We've been described as mediocre and a lower half team despite the fact that we've spent most of this season above them and are now third.

Don't go trolling though, just read and laugh. Come back here if you want to gloat ;) :D

Congrats to Bolton :).

I agree. Everytime i've checked your ranking this season, you've been in the top 6, now 3rd.

Prenn, what are your thoughts on the Anelka signing? Is that just a one-off against a former club, or has he looked dangerous in most other games as well?

Can I come over and gloat too? Didn't take much to get that Theo Theo muppet wound up on the Arse boards did it? Take another look if you haven't in a while, he's really going off now.:D Arse fans are so cute as babies.....
Congrats on a well played and deserved victory!

Yep, we've been there or there abouts. Our pre-game position of 9th was the lowest we've been all season and it only took one win to send us to third.

From the games I've seen he's looked like he's been working hard but hasn't really had the chances. Okay, so he's missed a few sitters in recent games but I don't think we can fault his effort and he's always a danger as shown today. It's taken him a while but I think he's finally beginning to understand our system and what's required of him. Hopefully the brace he got will spur him on to score more.

There's nothing quite as bitter as an Arsenal fan when they lose to Bolton. I guess it must rile them that their glorious footballing side can't get the better of Bolton's 'anti-football' tactics. In reality they just don't know their place and I think that defeats like this really bring it home to them.

Theo Theo's great, he's taking his anti-Bolton tripe to other forums. Nothing would please me more than for him to come here and call us a lower middle table team. :D

Alan Shearer cleared up the Davies yellow card on MOTD. Apparently last season a push to the chest would have been a red but it's been changed this season to just a yellow.

So he wasn't lucky to stay on the pitch.

Mike Dean had a good game today.

Good win for the Trotters.

Finally Anelka gets a few in the back of the net. About time.

El-Hadji Diouf deserved a goal today; good play from him.

BTW, I'm new BWFC (they're my favorite EPL team at least) fan on the boards; glad to see a dedicated mod on here. Good work Prenn

Welcome aboard!

Diouf is easily our most under-rated player, not by Bolton fans of course, but by the wider audience. His reputation belies the fact that he's actually a very good footballer.
