That's a pretty big comparison. Do you have a link to the article? Also, can you expand on your comparision? Not really sure what your trying to say.

Can you dispense with allegories and just say it?
1. She is a good player on a poor team.
2. She is a selfish player and doesn't care what her teammates do
3. These are the only two examples I could think of.

She definitely has some moves, I only watched a bit of the game but she really stuck out as a really good player!

I agree the thread is a little confusing. The title sounds like a compliment...the quote....well, I'm not sure what that means.

She was showing skill when her teammates were playing kick 'n wish.
Or, she was snorting coke during a tennis tournament. I forget which.

Not that familiar with the USWNT, but I'm in US soccer withdrawal, so I'm going to dive right in - please forgive my ignorance.
Lori Chalupny likes to dribble a bit much when the easy pass would do? Perhaps like Christian Ronaldo? (And that's just a comparison to a player who has a penchant for individual effort, not an allegory, right?) And what's the reference to Coke snorting? Did Lilly really do that?
