Ivar with a yellow after kicking the ball away following a hand ball.

Murty had a nice ball before that, though.

That was way too close.

Ha, Boa Morte runs into Doyle and falls down while Doyle stands without a problem.

Did everyone see the sky pregame piece, which noted that with a win today, Reading's relegation fears are over?
Bit premature (both on the win and the easing of fears). Still, sky predicted 2-1 fulham.

Didn't see that. I don't think it would end the fears completely, because there is always the chance for a collapse, but it would certainly help and put us in very good position.

Two years ago, Reading head into Christmas in second in the CCC. The rest of the season would have been a snip, it seemed. Except for the endless winless streak that followed. It was a slow, agonizing fall out of the playoff positions, capped by three season ending loses, when they were still, somehow in one of the top six spots.

So, who's email did they just read? From Chicago, assume it was someone on here?

Yep, I almost made that comparison but we did manage 27 points after January that season. Had gotten 43 before, though, and with the spectacularly crappy finish it definately qualifies as a collapse.

May have been PabloChicago's email. I don't know if anyone else here is from Chicago.

Reading with a few good chances, then a handball off a corner.

Yellow against Sonko.

why do refs feel the need to even things up after they send a player off?

half the team's got a yellow card. is gallagher looking for a doyuble yellow before the final whistle?

wow, we picked up 27 points after christmas? seemed like about five. Wasn't there a stretch where we didn't allow a goal, and came away with ties. Course, Kitson went down, and we collapsed. that may be a cautionary tale, about needing (quality) players.

No word yet, but Little is not good news. his injury last year took him through the summer to recover from, and they he got hurt again and it took a while.

Was off by one, 26 after Christmas (44 before). Didn't seem like it though, you're right. After Christmas there were 6 0-0 ties.

Seol looks for a penalty one time down, but doesn't get it, then does poorly with it after getting it the box the next time down.
