I'm going to be working up some scarf designs for possible consideration by The Midnight Riders this off-season, and plan to post some working designs here. Feel free to let me know what you might like in a scarf in terms of design, posting image links to designs you like here, etc.:
The following is one I worked up earlier in the season. I'm considering all-white fringe, and possibly replacing the image of Lalas with one of Alberto Naveda if Fred Kfoury can send me a hi-res headshot.

I really don't want to get high off of scarf fumes if Lalas was on it. How about The General for an early years guy? It'd be a great choice if he's involved with the youth system.
Very, very good scarf idea, BTW.
Also, maybe "Revo Legends" like the JMM banner?

Just FYI, but Steve Erickson is the Midnight Riders merchandising chair for 2007, so if you have any other ideas as to what you might want to see, fee free to post that in this forum.

Actually, I already have a working image of Okaroh I can use, and could certainly use that in place of Lalas. Francis was, and remains, a class act.

Magpie, I was wondering about this as well. You'd probably know a lot better than me, but I know that was one of the reasons we were wary of the Nicol scarf last year, IIRC.

Maybe make the horse and rider 2 color as opposed to just the black to give it some detail? Shape is a little confusing at first. I love the concept though. I'd buy one.

Can't say I like the sides, thow an actual graphic in there and your golden.
Why 1995?
Maybe make the horse and rider 2 color as opposed to just the black to give it some detail? Shape is a little confusing at first. I love the concept though. I'd buy one.
agreed, I actually didn't see that it was a horse and rider until I read this.
Great work all around though, I don't know how you do it, guess thats why I'm a coder...

Slick design, Evan. Well done.
Just curious, will you be trying to keep a similar blue to last year's scarf to keep uniformity in The Fort, or a different blue to enhance the chances of someone who has the old one buying a new one?
And I'll be hitting you up for some of those symbols. I'm probably going to print out iron-ons for those flags I brought to the playoff game.

Because that is the year the Riders were formed.
The Revolution were also founded in 1995 lest people forget.
I'd probably try to go with the color yarn that best approximates the blue the Revs wear, but you can get a look at the yarn samples through the following link:
