I saw this open debate last friday night on Televisa's Noticiero TD. Very interesting discussion between Javier Alarcon and the following club presidents: Rafael Lebrija (Toluca), Jose A. Garcia (Atlante), Ernesto Fregaso (Atlas), Juan Jose Frangie (Guadalajara), Billy Alvarez (Cruz Azul), Jorge Urdiales (Monterrey).

They touched on a lot of topics

Hugo Sanchez
The meeting held to elect Hugo
League Format
Playoff Formar
Calender and its problems
etc.

Is there anyway we can download this, because monday night, this particular show will not be available anymore. You guys need to watch it.

A lot of the things that we have discussed here about how to improve the league, they bring it up. It shows that they are not complete idiots.

Monterrey's president seems to be a complete fool. Alvarez and and Lebrija are smart. Lebrija is a very smart man (irony is that he is the club president I hate most :D:()

Monterrey's president wasn't that bad. He just disagreed with Alvarez on el torneo largo. The Atlas president hardly ever talked, and when he did he sounded pre-pubescent. Fangio the Chivas president is a ******. If Walter Mercado had a lover it would be Fangio. Lebrija knows how to talk but has always been a shady character. Billy Alvarez looked bored, had some good ideas with the torneo largo. And Garcia has always been a character it had been a while since I heard him talk.

Decent program, yet I didn't learn anything that new from it.

It seemed to me that Urdiales wants repechaje because the way he put it was that you kill football for 2 months. Most fans will take quality of quantity any day of the week.

Another thing that Alvarez said was you cant draft up bylaws just to make exceptions. Although Alarcon was right that they need to forsee things, Alvarez was right in saying that.

Nothing new, but just a sense of relief that the club presidents are aware of the problems. I did not see one of them try to sugar coat the problems.
