¿Quiénes deciden quién será el técnico?
El Consejo de Dueños votará, pero la elección será cerrada. Aquí te presentamos una relación de los equipos que apoyan a cada candidato.

The article is has some truths, but also some speculation.
It is not nothing new, we all know that the owners choose the NT.
Does every FA also choose their NT coach the same manner we do, where the owners choose?
I do not like that

it is, but its still speculation. He is basing that off past statements.
You can't assume that Vergara will not vote for Hugo just because he has talked smack about him. At one point, Vergara wanted Hugo in (maybe more os because he wanted Lavolpe out).

gallego did step down.
It wouldnt have made any difference, it's not like the owners decided which candidate to vote for on the last minute.

i really dont think it would have made much of a difference...
most of the press, players, coaches, and fans wanted Hugo. Televisa Deportes even stated that never has their been as much anticipation for the election of a coach, until yesterday.
Over 50 cameras from different countries were in attendence at the press conference. The amount of international press reporting it is proof of it. From Asia to Africa to Europe, they know of Hugo
