I've got a question of my own. Is there an English language site that covers the basics of MFL (standings etc.)? I'm a non-Spanish speaker, but I've got the channels and love the game, so I'd like to have some clue as to what is going on.

ESPN's soccernet.com has the Mexican groups (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tables?league=mex.1&cc=3888)... our blog is all in english (http://pumas-blog.blogspot.com/), and talks generally about Mexican football, but is heavily Pumas biased....

Other than that it can be very hard... do you have no spanish at all? Medio Tiempo (http://www.mediotiempo.com/) is excellent, but 100% in Spanish... but reasonably straight forward for facts and figures, on the left hand menu, you have Equipos - Teams, Jornadas - each round of games, Tabla General - overall league table, tabla por groups - the groups, Porcentaje is for the relegation, Goleo individual, highest goalscorer, etc etc etc.. i really think you should stick at it, you will be surprised how the basics come, and you will a) know more about the crazy world of Mexican footy, and b) pick up some Spanish along the way... win win situation!

Thanks Dale. No Spanish mostly. A few disconnected words, but the new IE has a translate page feature (wish Firefox had it), so I can make due.
