By best attacker, I mean the best all-round attack minded player. Scoring, playmaking, etc. I was going to name the poll "Best Striker", but most of these players can play as wingers/attacking mids, etc. So basically, the best player in attack.

Perhaps instead of launching into that pathetic personal attack, you should have considered what I posted. It's not a public poll so there is no way of telling whether votes are genuine or people constantly voting for their personal favourite to skew the results. The only way to tell is by making the poll public. Countless threads and polls have been ruined because of that basic mistake. It's therefore worthless and you are the one wasting everyones' time.

luis artimeIt's the first time I've heard that name on these boards. He was one of Argentina's best players from the 1960s and even lead Nacional of Uruguay to a Copa Libertadores in 1971.

Luis Artime is a legend in Argentina, one of the best pure strikers in Argentine history. He was the best Argentine centerforward of his era, scoring over 500 goals while playing in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. He was a starter for Argentina at the 1966 World Cup, scoring three goals. I considered him for the all-time draft, but didn't pick him.
But to say he's the best of all time is a stretch. I'd say definitely top five for Argentine forwards

And once again, German players were ignored. How that's still going on is beyond me.

How anyone could possibly believe that is beyond me.I'll change it to Maradona and Platini (unless you want to classify Cryuff as an AM).
And once again, German players were ignored. How that's still going on is beyond me.To make things more interesting:
G Muller, Seeler, Voeller, Klinsmann - great out-and-out finishers
Matthaeus, Hassler, A Moeller, Overath, Netzer - great midfielders
Libuda, Rummenigge, Littbarski - great right-wingers
F Walter, H Rahn - great forwards
K Allofs, Heynckes - great left-wingers
