54 players debuted this season. That is an average of 3.17 debuts per match day.

The youngest player to debut was Moises Adrian Velasquez Herrera (Toluca) at age 17 and the oldest to debut was Octavio Mira Ramirez (Toluca) at age 25.

The rookie with the most minutes played was Juan Carlos Mosqueda Andrade (America) where he played 1136 minutes. The rookie with the most games played is also Juan Carlos Mosqueda with 15 games played.

The rookie with the most goals scored was Paul Nicloas Aguilar (Pachuca), Juan Carlos Mosqueda (America), and Rafael Murgia Gonzales (Atlas_, all with 2 goals a piece.

I think Juan Carlos Mosqueda and Rafael Murgia were this season's best rookies, however I Mosqueda should be rookie of the year.

Atlante's Zea also seemed to have some good qualities in the midfield.

I would also say Mosqueda. He looks very promising for the NT.

BTW, who was the coach that debuted more players?

How about Patricio Araujo and Julio Domínguez. They play pretty good this season.

I don't remember about him, but the guys from Tv Azteca said Dominguez debuted this season.

Toluca debuted 7, but the majority of them saw very little time.

btw, Zea plays for Necaxa, not Atlante.

only 2 players played more than 50% of the season (Mosqueda and Zea). Hugo used Zea alot in his team.

However, about 6 or 7 of the 54 played atleast 30% of the season

In that case, Juan Carlos Mosqueda should be rookie of the year. :D

even if araujo was a rookie this year, mosqueda would be still be the best rookie this season.

mosqueda debuted on the 2nd matchday and by the 4th matchday he was a fulltime starter and did not let go of the position. His role with the team became instrumental.

Although not a rookie Aldrete defensa de monarcas had a very good and consistent season! I know he doesnt get much hype being that he doesnt play for the popular clubs such as Aguilas and chivas but he should be considered one day for the NT as well if he continues to do good

The same could be said about Pato. He is instrumental in our team as well and took Sol's spot and is chosen over El Chato.

i dont even know why we are talking about Dominguez, Araujo, etc.

This is about rookies... again... ROOKIES for the APERTURA 2006 season.

for a complete list of them, go to the femexfut website.

it is pointless to talk about Pato or Chato, mch less suato

It's Mosqueda there's no doubt about that...a lot of talented players were debuted this year...Atlas is still doing a great job developing and debuting players...Hugo Ayala is a player that got my attention in the Clasico Tapatio...he showed some great skills in the first half stopping Bofo from receiving the ball...another player that got my attention was Javier Hernandez from Chivas...not only because he scored in his debut but also because he's a player that showed he could create for himself and others too...lets hope these guys could develop into something big...
