I hope by exclusive and no other matches being played...the time is 9:30 EST...because if it's 7:30 on a Saturday that means day games during the summer

Very excellent.
As part of its exclusive national coverage of “MLS Saturday on FSC,” Fox Soccer Channel will be on-site at MLS venues each week to produce a live pre-game, halftime and post-game show, which will take place at the stadium, allowing for fan interaction. The shows will include player and coach interviews, highlights of other league matches, statistical updates and expert analysis. The post-game show will also involve viewer participation via e-mail, text messaging and telephone call-ins.
Hopefully that's not to the tune of Mark Rogondino messing up player names to the tune of MLS Wrap 2005. I hope they learned from their mistake.
It sounds like it'll be a 30 minute pregame show, 2 hour game, and 30 minute post-game show. I like how fans can call in and provide their own insight.
First paragraph:
"...plans to produce and telecast Major League Soccer’s first-ever on-site"
I'm probably grasping for too many straws, but if they're on the air before and after the game is played, does this mean they'll use their own cameras? I wonder if they'll send announcers to the games. Anyone know these things for sure?

. I think this is a good idea. I love the idea of The fans being able to participate. Especially with the call in part. this should help the league grow. that pick if fox was smart they would do what they did when they first started telecasting matches by having two in-studio analyzers and having Max bretos as the announcer. if I ran Fox and i had to pick a couple of people to host the pre-game, and post game my first pick would be Shawn Wheelock and someone else TBaA. In my opinion Sawn has proven himself to the public by doing expert anlysis of MLS and CONCACAF for the BBC and he is very enjoyable.

They sent announcers to the games they did this season, I see no reason why Bretos and Sullivan won't be traveling next season.

I was interested to hear FSC is in 28 mil homes. Last I remember it was 21 mil.
Good news about the MLS coverage though, hopefully the quality will be good and wont seem anything like other FSC productions.

I guess you're right. I remember watching a game that had a voice doing pregame lineups, then sending it to the pbp guys in the booth.
IMO, it just adds so much credibility to your channel when you actually send your announcer to the stadium. (Obviously games not played in the USA are exempt.)

Ya mean like when that dillhole Christian Miles said the following while doing highlights of DC United and New York in the playoffs?:
"Moreno slots it through for Christian Martinez to finish"
Brilliant stuff there.

I suppose this is better than the crap college soccer they have been showing, but its still not La Liga, Ligue 1, the Champions Leauge, the UEFA cup or Euro qualifiers.

You wouldn't want them to go bankrupt like Setanta would you?

I was referring to the brilliance of Crew then-Interim Coach Robert Warzycha shown MLS Wrap with the banner "GREG ANDRULIS - CREW HEAD COACH" directly beneath his face.
Greg had been fired a few weeks earlier.

Boats and planes leave for Europe every single day. Feel free to purchase a one-way ticket sometime.

or just order channels that do have those available like setanta, goltv, espn deportes, espn 2, espn classic, and fox soccer channel.
in england there are only 2-3 premiership games televised per week, and 1 is always about $14 for ppv. every champions league game is on, but not every uefa cup game (they get about as much as we got last year, dominated by english clubs) and they don't get nearly as many euro qualifiers as we do.
we've got it pretty good as far as the amount of soccer games we get to see on tv live and almost live here in the US.

Is that just like how Chelsea is expected to go bankrupt with their crazy spending, and Kansas City Wizards are expected to achieve solid financial balance sheet with their tight control on spending?

Sorry man, I just dont find any joy watching that anonymous journeyman playing for some team with a retarded name like the Wizards. Watching the MLS is like watching Bolton Wonderers multiple times a weekend. Makes me suicidal.
