Who cares? If that's who he is then who are we to judge him? Also I remember him explaining it in a way that made it sound ok, lol.

The saga of Nery Castillo might be nearing its end:
http://www.soccerway.com/news/2006/November/09/greece-to-call-up-hot-shot-castillo/
Greece boss Otto Rehhagel plans on speaking with him about his intentions and might call him up based on his answer.
At this point I'm kind of indifferent to Castillo and whether or not he plays for El Tri, but as far as his own personal interests go, he would go a lot farther with Mexico. Not that I'm downplaying the Greek National Team's talent (they do deserve credit for winning the Euro 2004), but the fact of the matter remains that the Mexican National Team was, during the last cycle for Germany 2006, considered by many to be better (although not by too terribly much) than greece. Then, you have to consider the up-and-coming talent that El Tri will have for 2010 as well as the veterans that are really starting to make their mark at home and in europe (you cannot downplay the fact that Marquez [spain - barca], Salcido [Holland - psv], and Pardo & Osorio [Germany - stuttgart] could all concievably win their respective leagues in Europe - and as cornerstones of their respective teams, no less). Also, qualification for the World Cup from Europe is far more difficult than qualifying from CONCACAF, where Mexico's qualification campaign is just a formality. If he wants to be guaranteed to play in the next world cup - and maybe even have a realistic shot at winning some hardware at South Africa 2010, then he would pick Mexico. Then again, Nery has always given the impression of a person that is far easier to persuade with money than with the prospect of success as a professional.

Okay from reading what that guy posted about the last interview with Nery about his decision of what natioanl team to choose I think it will be Mexico why i say this why hasn't he been knocking on Greeces door for a shot on the national team but instead Greece is begging Nery to play for their NT It's either gonna be Mexico or Uraguay but I feel Nery in his mind wants a shot with Mexico because he knows his chances are better for going and having plenty of playing time, now his dad on the other hand wants Nery to play for his former country Uraguay but I think Nery is learning that his dad wants to control his career. Nery knows Mexico always makes it to the world cup and Nery knows Mexico needs a player like him in that position watch and see.

It looks that TV Azteca is gonna push on Nery Castillo from now on, they closed their broadcast of the new coach presentation with an interview with Jorge Valdano. From all the questions you can ask a guy like Valdano, they asked about Nery Castillo, did he knew them?, what were his thoughts on him?
Valdano thinks he's a great young prospect, he said that when he was officer at Real Madrid, he talked with Nery Castillo Sr. about the possibility of getting Nery Castillo Jr. in Real's Youth System. Valdano says that Hugo Sánchez should call Nery for the next match to see if the kid is really willing to play with Mexico, this way if he commes you know you can count on him and if he doesn't, then at least you know the people of the Federation tried.

The swastika is actually an old symbol that means strength and power used by many old civilizations in India and other places. Hitler ripped it off cause they needed something to put on a flag and thats what they used, so it's not originally a racist symbol.

Did Nery have negative things to say about Hugo being named the coach?
They were going over his comments on Galavision the other day and it sounded like he had said some negative things. I don't know if those comments were current or if they were something that he said in the past about Hugo , does anyone got the down low?

He was a sub yesterday, he wasn't going to play at all, because he was being reserved for the Champions league game against Valencia this wednesday. But since Olympiakos was losing 0-2, the coach had to send the main guys.
At the end of the game they won 3-2 with Castillo scoring the third goal, here's de goal:
