THE SOCCEROOS AND THE ALL WHITES NEED MORE FRIENDLIES!!!! The standard of these two nations would lift dramatically if they play more experienced opposition! More friendlies at HOME and away are desparately required!

Heck, the USA is closer to the best competition and we have a hard time scheduling these matches due to the distance.

America and Australia are far away from the hub of football.....EUROPE and until the league clubs release their players for international duty the we can have more friendlies. However we need more mini tornaments like a world series like the cricket here in Australia we have 3 nations including Australia as host in a mini competition. I suggest there should be challenge series' like USAvAUSTvENGvNZ/JPN or something like that where select teams play in mini comps like the confederation cup but slightly smaller scale but important enough for full strength international sides.
Or like they have now but have 3 friendlies home and away. I think more competitions will bring Australia, NZ and other teams on the sidelines into the game and not be bench warmers most of the time! :P

I have the answer...Tours.
Get a team to come in and play Australia,New Zealand,Fiji etc...

Tours can take a huge bite out of federations budget. Private individuals aren't really going to bankroll such tours unless they get something out of it.

Looks like Canada's not the only Country nobody wants to travel to to play a friendly. ;)
