I seriously doubt he'd come to Ewood or rather that we could afford him. Does he seem to you that he'd take a massive paycut to play here in front of 22,000 fans? You know some other team will go in for him like Newcastle and Tottenham even though they don't need him. I just find this highly improbable..I won't believe it 'til I see it and if I do see it, I don't think he'd be worth the amount of money we gave him unless he took a HUGE paycut...

I seriously doubt that Becks will go to Rovers, BUT in his autobiography (and Posh's autobio, too) they both bring up Mr. Hughes. Apparently, the Hughes family and the Beckham family often entertain each other to home dinners, and the such, and are the best of friends.

It is looking like Becks will soon be done at Real Madrid. I did think, however, that the MLS thingy seemed more of a better move for the Beckham family. And, (honestly) it might be a bit less *degrading* for Davey-boy to head to America rather than playing (in *shame*) in England for a small club like our beloved Rovers.

Somewhere in the press a couple of weeks ago, I think, it was stated Beckham had said that he would only return to England to play for Man Utd.. I can't remember the source though..
