3 points? HAH. We hardly have a striker. I'd be happy to take a point with the way things are going.

Obagoal, Dyer, and God (http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/journalsport/tm_headline=three-reasons-to-be-cheerful%26method=full%26objectid=18066599%26siteid=50081-name_page.html) all could return to action for the Man City game.

I would be happy with at least a fine display.

We're playing absolutely nothing. I really doubt that we can get all three points.

I'd like to see Martins and Sibierski if they are fit.

But Roeder probably wont put a tall, aerial capable goalscorer player in to recieve Milner's Duff's or Carr's crosses because he prefers to put wings in the center...and it would make too much sense to do so.

Smells like 0-0 to me.

Thx,

I want to see Luque play 90. I want to see Duff in the midfield with Milner, Zogs and Parker. I want to see some ********ing heart. I want to see the ball played on the ground through the midfield and wings.

I don't want to see Carr, Babayaro, and Bramble.

******** the UEFA, FA and Carling cups, stay up!!!

Shepard and Hall out!!!!

This should be fun.

He's had quite a week, quite a year. Maybe he'll leave his whistle and his cards home.

I want to see the odds on 22 players being on the pitch at the final whistle.

I agree with this part of what you're saying. We'll have to agree to disagree on the Cup bit.

Harper, Bernard, Taylor, Moore, Ramage, Duff, Zogs, Parker, Milner, Luque, Sibierski should be the starters. Bench should be Srnicek, Huntington, Solano, Butt, Emre, Rossi. No sense risking God, Martins or Dyer with the international break looming.

For all of you that think we've turned a corner because we snuck by a ************ Watford squad, guess what we haven't. Forget all these various cup competitions. They're a distraction from our true mission which is to stay in the Premiership.

I don't think anyone thinks we've turned a corner because of advancing in the Carling Cup. However, every team would like to win silverware and qualify for Europe, which is where we should be each and every year. Despite his ineptitude, the board will get the horses to keep us up which is why I don't overly worry about a relegation scrap (yet), but getting to Europe is still important, and this particular Cup might be our best shot.

More on topic... 1-0 Toon.

It's mid November and we're second from bottom. At this point survival in the top flight should be our #1 focus. If you think for one second that Freddy Sheppard will pull any strings to get us out of this mess than your sadly mistaken.

We can't beat Charlton, Sheffield United, Watford, Fulham or Boro. I doubt we'll be able to beat City away either. 3-1 City with DMB running Carr ragged.

Sheppard Out!!

No strikers on the bench. Can't say I'm surprised.

Halfway thru, the only good chances are all ManCiteh's. Capped by another NUFC handball in the box. This time Ramage gets away with one. It was on a throw in that Moore headed clear, but it went straight acrossthe box to an unmarked Reyna, who took a bumbling shot that Ramage's arm blocked away.

Thx,

Jay!
