Celtic 1 - 1 Boavista
Thought Celtic were unlucky not to get the win, it was a freak goal from the Portuguese side and Celtic created enough chances to take the game. Didn't really see anything from Boavista that leads me to believe that they will win the second leg and I think Celtic will do what they did against Blackburn and Liverpool and win away from home to take them though. Thought Balde and Mjalby were excellent tonight but Ricardo in the Boavista goal put in a laughable performance.

Amazing result for Porto on the other hand, 4-1! and after going 1-0 down. Lazio have that vital away goal though, should be an interesting second leg if the Italians score early on.

I watched the game and Porto were brilliant.
They could've had afew more goals...
the scoreline didnt flatter them at all.
I cant see them being stopped in this competition.
They are hot favoutites to win the cup.

Unliked JohnO, i don't think Lazio as a chance in hell of going to the final. Porto proved they are a much better team and i wouldn't be suprised if Porto wins in Rome too.
As for Celtic vs Boavista, this is a tough one but Boavista will win at home against Celtic. This is going to be an all Portuguese final with FC Porto wining the cup.

I decided to sit on the fence on the Porto/Lazio issue, as I didn't see the game and I haven't seen Porto at all this season. I didn't realise the result wasn't as unexpected as I thought. I will make sure to watch the return leg if it's on Eurosport.
