Q: Who is most to blame for Newcastle's plight?
Current results: (over 14000 votes)
The Players 57%
Roeder 24%
Fat Freddy 19%
Interesting results. Likely an indication of what non-Newcastle supporters view as the problem. Some of the players are shit, true, but they were brought in on Shepherd's watch.
Roeder is also clearly more of a problem than the players. His tactics make no sense and he is not able to adjust to the other team during a game. This couldn't have been clearer than last night.
Considering the length of time a takeover would take and the fact that FFS said he isn't going anywhere, Roeder needs to be out. A manager with a clue could, at the very least, get us mid-table.
That being said, I'm still riding high from last night. There hasn't been much to get excited about. Now let's hope for a good draw and 3 points on Saturday.
