Aston villa Arsenal match

Was watching the replay of this match last night on Fox Sports. In the 2nd half one fo the AR's had to be replaced with the 4th official. Evidently he had gotten some sort of hamstring injury. Anyway, I thought it was interesting as I have not actually seen the 4th official bought into action before.

Good match though. I can not remember the name of the CR that did the match but for some reason he has become one of my favorite to watch. He was the guy who restrained Keane last year.

Did the injured AR assume the duties of the 4th for the second half or did he leave the pitch?

The injured AR remained on the pitch and took over the duties of the 4th official. The hamstring injury was probably hampering him from keeping up with the pace of play.

I think you may be right on the CR. He is a large imposing figure. Always smiling and just genuinely looks to be having a good time while doing his job.
