wots happening with the epl their title race seems already a 2 horse race? such a big gap between man u/chelsea and the rest. arsenal and liverpool have gone, comparing this to la liga?
5 teams within 3 points of each other at the top where sevilla lead.
i think most exciting title race in europe

I suppose you are excited by mediocrity. Whatever floats your boat.

Big teams underperforming doesn't make a league exciting. I hear the Japanese league has a lot of teams in contention...

Yeah, don't know how people can follow La Liga. A whopping 9 points separating the top 13 teams with the defending European Champions and UEFA Cup champions included in that group.
If that doesn't spell "crap league" I don't know what does.

Big teams underperforming doesn't make a league exciting.
But solid teams (like Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool) who can't even hang in the title race for more than 5 minutes from the start of the season does?
That's interesting...

The La Liga title is probably the most exciting because most of the clubs aren't too far off the pace and Sevilla is on top instead of one of the Big Two.
The Bundesliga race is second. Werder is on top but Stuttgart, Bayern and Schalke are making a fight for it. Hopefully, Bayern focus more on the CL and the other teams can step up a gear.
The Serie A race is third. Inter is predictably on top but Palermo is level and Roma shouldn't be ignored.

No question that La Liga has the most exciting race up to this point in the season. Sevilla has been playing excellent football and their current position at #1 is well deserved. Hopefully they can keep it up. Also Zaragoza deserves a mention in third place. Diego Milito for pichichi!
It's also good to see that Manchester United is giving Chelsea a run to bring some excitement to the title race that has been lacking in that league for the past couple of years due to Chelsea's dominance. Hopefully they can keep it up although I still fancy Chelsea winning out just not as easy as their previous EPL titles.
Seria has looked decent with Inter, Palermo and Roma(hopefully Cassano goes back to Roma b/c it doesn't seem likely that he'll get significant playing time at Real). I haven't been following Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga consistently so I can't comment on those leagues.

La Liga is the most exciting, at the moment. Big three (Madrid, Barca, Valencia) all up there, teams who have been awesome and/or made good pickups doing well also (Zaragoza and Sevilla).
Of course, you expect 1, 2 and 3rd to be Madrid, Barca and Valencia (maybe not in that order ;)), but both Sevilla and Zaragoza will make a run of it. :)

In terms of title race, you can't look beyond Holland as no-one has a clue at this stage who out of PSV, AZ and Ajax will win the championship. All clubs in the top eight have beaten sides in the top three and anyone can basically beat anyone.

La Primeria Liga is really only a contender for most exciting if you look at the big 3 leagues and nobody else. As has been mentioned, the German and Dutch leagues are very intriguing so far. The Swiss league is also quite interesting, with Zurich and Basel neck and neck and the other powerhouses not too far behind.
I'm sure there are a number of other European leagues out there having very competitive seasons.

I'll bet my mortgage that it'll be Ajax or PSV winning the title.

the la liga title race has gotten more exciting since last month
the 3 horse race of
sevilla 37
barca 34
madrid 32
atletco 28
valencia 27
zaragoza 27
quite easily most exciting in europe and only 10 points seperate the top 6 surely showing it is the best and most competitive league with 7 quality teams of barca, madrid, valencia, sevilla, atletico, zaragoza and villarreal who unfortunately behind but the top 6 is seperate by 10 points
contrasting that from the prem chelsea are 6 points of man u hardly a title race with the big two from england just racing away from anybody else, they are out of sight
man u 54
chelsea 48

Even though that the La Liga race is looking interesting, Sevilla has to maintain their run and Atletico and Valencia need to give the big two a fight. If Barca or Real end up winning the title, it would be boring.

Yeah I cannot really imagine this current La Liga situation occuring in the EPL. It's always the "big four" of LFC/AFC/MUFC/CFC. Picture this...
Tottenham 37
Chelsea 34
Man Utd 32
Newcastle 28
Arsenal 27
Liverpool 27
... I can't imagine that, even after just 16 rounds or so. Not today... maybe earlier this decade.
I suppose you are excited by mediocrity. Whatever floats your boat.
Unlike Bolton... now they are an exciting, quality football club.
