I know Man United have complained about the early starts, but I don't think this is going to change given their popularity in Asia, when these games are in prime time. United should embrace these games, as they have more experience preparing for them than any other team. If they do that, then it will be an advantage for them.

BBC Match preview (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/2917307.stm)
Newcastle have gone unbeaten at home the last six months.
Let's go get the three points. A scoreline of 0-2 would be a massive boost to morale, especially with Arse looming on the horizon.
ManU are taking Newcastle to the woodshed. 4-1 at halftime. Scholes 2nd goal was unstoppable! Let the goals keep flowing.

4-1 at the half. After an opening goal by Newcastle, within about 15 minutes it was Ole, Scholes (after a great 1-2 with Ole), Scholes (a cracker from about 18 yards) and Giggs (easy rebound after an unreal run/shot off the crossbar by O'Shea).

Great time for a barthez blunder.
Get it out of the system when you are up 6-1.

Now its Barthez - he dribbled the length of the pitch and did a rainbow over the GK to score! Amazing!!!!
;) Just kidding
Heck - 7-1 - its not that ridiculous :)

Well, 6-2, great result.
Injury worries on Keane and Barthez. O'Shea wasn't looking too uncomfortable really...
We'll take our 3 points and +4 GD and go home...

even though I'd hoped for an away win I could not have dreamt(ed?) that we would win so easily. we were all over them from start to finish. Jenas goal was nice but totally against the run of play and then we got our breaks.
hope Faba and Keane are fit for Highbury, but if the team are in form like today it honestly wouldn't matter.

The best you lot have looked in a LONG time.
Although Woodgate did his job marking Van Noodlehead, your players made Newcastle's defense play to its age of all U-23s.

The match report says that Keane left with a "dead leg". What the hell is a dead leg? Is that just the official name for a charley horse?

keep beating it for a half hour or give it a good hard smack a few times. thats a dead leg cos you just can't feel the thing.
