Saw him playing on FSC a couple of nights ago and recalled the name from the name edit database in WE9. Not hating on the guy, I know next to nothing about him, but why the glamourous name for a relatively unheralded player?

Of in dutch means or. In english his name would be Vennegor or Hesselink. My understanding is it came through the marriage of two prominent farming families and rather than choosing whose name to carry on they used both.
