I like playing better than running. I have to concentrate on playing instead of how hard I'm working. Even 3v3, 3v1, or 2v2.

I gave up mid-January and you know what, my body thinks it was fitter when I was a smoker than I am now.
It is a long road - three to six months before your body begins to adjust, then up to seven years before the all illness risks are back to that of an non-smoker.
Treat this like working towards a 15k (adjust according to preference). Hard going at first, but then as you add minutes to your run each day, you progress pretty quickly.
Good luck !

there aint no special stamina shakes, ur body needs to learn how to concerve more oxygen while exercising, the best way for that is to keep active
running is the best way to get in shape, it may hurt for the first month but think at all the great after-effects

my mother used to smoke alot and she ended up quiting finally and she also had a hard time running. she started off by jogging 1km then walking back home for a km so then u get your warm down and build up from that. 2k run 1 k walk. or you could try bursts which i do with my track team. we run hard for 30 secs, jog slowly for 30 secs, run hard for 30 secs, jog slowly for 30 secs and ect....personally i just jogg and work my way up...but i don't smoke...never got addicted luckily
