some former first division resident are in there Like

CNI de Iquitos, Juan Aurich de Chiclayo and Leon de Huanuco

personally im hoping CNI make it back up

also there is a serious need for teams to change their names if they sound incredibly stupid;)

aka Total Clean from Arequipa

I'm with CNI too, the best charapa team ever. & their stadium it's 1 of the best in country.

Total Clean es la empresa q financia a los charakatos (pone el billete) :)

The only thing I still dont like about the Copa Peru is these teams that come out of nowhere, solely because some padrino who has extra cash to dispose decided to invent a team. All of them are one year-wonders because when they fail to make it to the top flight the padrino packs up and they immedialtly disband.

We need more historic institutions such as CNI, Leon de Huanuco, UTC, Chalaco, ADT, Manucci, Aurich, etc...
Our level of competition will remain the lowest in South America (along with Venezuela and Bolivia) if any moron who has some extra $30,000 to dispose can make a team out of thin air and take it to the First Division in 6 months.

Yep.

I dont think it sucks, all these amatuer teams dont deserve to go to the 1st divsion, except for a couple of teams like CNI and Juan Aurich. If teams like Boca Juniors (LAMBAYEQUE), who reached the quater finals last year, can have a direct pass to 1st division than something is wrong.

Are you sure Romero?

So it's a ratio of 2 go down, one goes up? That can't be. Pretty soon, first division is gonna have only 5 teams. Brilliant organizational skills

Wait, my bad, next year is when 2nd division has 2 promotion spots and Copa Peru has one to 2nd division.

This year winner of copa peru has one spot to 1st division also which.

oops :o
