Pompey are currently 4th in the table with 19 points.

Brown...Rio...Vidic.......Evra
Ronaldo..Carrick...Scholes...Giggs
..........Saha....Rooney...........
If we can manage to put that lineup out on Saturday, I reckon we'll be able to put in a more dynamic performance.

I have a bad feeling about this.....Numquam has a good luck charm to him in the PL. he should have made the thread. Plus I like the club logos' pictures he puts up. (I do not, in any way want him to post because of Keeley :p)
we should win this 2-0 though! lets hope we play the same team as against Bolton

Giggs is going to miss this one I thought?
If so I would expect the team to be
VDS
Wes Rio Vidic Evra (/Heinze?)
Fletch Scholes Carrick Ronaldo
Rooney Saha
We don't really have many other options in the midfield or up-front. A couple of injuries and our lack of depth is already beginning to tell. This really is a wake-up call to all of us with title ambitions. It's a matter of hoping we don't get many other injuries between now and January and hoping we can get a player or two in then.
I expect us to win if this is our line-up, but not by much.
1-0 maybe.

rah rah rah !!!!
Giggs/Neville and saha have passed fit ! so we should have a full side minus Ole and Parky
Fergie also said ...we should see the same team that played vs Bolton ! good news !

I'm amazed that Giggs and Neville are fit. Maybe they were not too badly injuried in the first place but SAF did not want to risk them in the Copenhagen match.
If we can't create some havoc against a defence with Andy O'Brien in it with our best attackers then we don't deserve to be title contenders.
I guess BigSoccer will be closed at around the time the match finishes? It'll stop any long post-mortems if it goes wrong I guess :)

If they stick with the all out attack policy they had at Bolton. I dont think Portmouth will be able to hold out for long. Although I thought that, when they went to Copenhagen.

i dont think andy o'brien is a CB for them...last time i saw them they were playing Campbell and Primus as Center-Backs and Glenn Johnson and Stefanovic are the fullbacks.
I THINK that's it, im not too sure...but that was the defensive line barring injuries

Primus and Johnson are ruled out of the game and O'Brien is the only backup defender they have atm.

Do you really think that they would scrape up any points anyway? :p
