you should buy another jersey cuz zidan has no future in Bremen.

Why do you say that? The guy flat out scores goals when he plays. Why wouldn't they give him a shot?

He's currently behind Klose,Hunt,Almeida and Klasnic in the depht chart.

He will be loaned out or maybe even sold in the winter transfer period.

That's too bad. But I really hope he gets an opportunity to get more playing time if he goes somewhere else. He's too exciting a player to have sitting on the bench.

He seemed to adjust nicely to the Bundesliga and help Mainz avoid relegation last season.

I wouldn't be too sure about Zidan's future. Klasnic looks most likely to go and Almeida has seemingly done not enough to warrant a long-term future with Werder...but all this talk about Schlaudraff coming probably does mean Zidan will lose out.

Bremen aren't the only ones in for Schlaudraff. BVB and Bayer Leverkusen are too. I don't think Schlaudraff going to Bremen is a forgone conclusion yet....

I think loaned out. There's a chance, albeit a very freakin' small one, that Bremen could lose Klose, Almeida and Klasnic this summer.

If that happens, they'll want to keep Zidan.

No, but I was just illustrating the point that all the talk seems to mean that Zidan doesn't have much of a future.

Seems, not positively ;)

Yes, and I said "I don't think Schlaudraff moving to Bremen is a forgone conclusion."

I was illustrating the point that all the talk might be premature.

"Might be", not "positively"....... ;)

I think we agree there.

What's the problem with Zidan then? It seems that he isn't getting a fair shot. Don't others feel he's got more than enough talent to be a solid player in the BL?

I'm sure some do, but they aren't going to pay the price Werder wants to sell him.

Especially when they see how Dortmund were suckered by Bremen for Valdez.

They'll come around when the price drops.

Zidan is just at the wrong club at the wrong time for himself.

But, he's earning CL money and will probably lift the "ugly salad plate" this season just for training and sitting on the bench for most of it.

but i think Zidan knows that Klose and maybe Klasnic will probably leave this summer, and Schlaudraff won't get a starting position... and since zidan knows the system already, he will get some chances. I also think if there are some injuries to Klose this year, Zidan will get his chance... and maybe he will use it well. It's not easy to come from a small team from denmark and right away play in a topclub like werder... same with Andreasen. But we will see.

Tell me something about Andreasen. Where can he play, what's his biggest assests?

I think he's most effective in dmid. He's got a very hard shot. He's not the fastest but a good fighter.

lol

Good win, could have sworn when van Burik rolled over Klose's ankles that he'd be done for, but van Burik got injured instad

Klose and Diego were World-Class but who should partner them. Hunt has a knock, Almeida and Klasnic very peripheral at best...

Klasnic is good, better than Hunt imo.

I don't know why they don't give him more chances.
