Hmm imo he's just not suited for their fast-paced game. I don't think they will keep him.
Schlaudraff is probably coming in January already. I'm looking forward to his development. He's got lots of potential.
I completly agree, but hes been fairly productive in most games hes played for them, he works hard, and hes the exact striker portugal need,, big tall fast with a strong shot and can finish well( most of the time)
...so i guess im being a bit greedy wanting him to play more..i just hope Klose teaches him some tricks of the trade:D

Sorry I don't mean to interfere but over here it's considered 99% certain that you're buying Peter Niemeyer of us (= Twente) come christmas. Which is good news for you and not so good news for us.

It's been rumoured for quite some time now. That would mean that Andreasen is off to Hannover for a 1 1/2 year loan deal.

They asked him to extend his contract and he refused, plus Bremen officially expressed their interest in him, so I'm guessing it's a done deal. Oh well, he's been with us since he was 14 so at least we get a nice enough development fee for him. What position do Bremen want him for? Central midfield?

A transfer next summer is more likely. Bremen need some backup for the DM and CB position.

It'd be a waste of a quality player if he ended up on your bench.
Tell me something about Andreasen. Where can he play, what's his biggest assests?

DM or CB and maybe LB and RB. Definite Defensive All-rounder. Not seen him much but heading seems to be his strong suit. Decent pace. Not sure about his mentality and composure, but he seems to be too good to be on Werder's bench all the time as he is. Might be better than Vinicius and etc, but can't be too sure as he has not had a decent run in the first team.

Maybe as replacement for Baumann. Baumann is 30 I believe and limited in the offensive game.

Maybe, but it is 95% more likely its the other way around :D
Definite Defensive All-rounder.
Ugh. We definitly don't need another defensive player, we have too much of those. We need someone who can create and play decent crosses in the attacking midfield.

Well he can play LB I believe. Tarnat is getting there in age (although his cross to Hashemian was perfect last week).

Guten Tag allerseits...
I'm looking for a picture of the 06/07 Werder away shirt (green/orange) from the rear, perhaps a shot of a free kick from goalkeeper view, a celebration or a huddle. I have a picture of the front, I would like to know for sure what the rear looks like.
(Insert joke about slow left backs knowing what it looks like here)

First post on this site, so go easy.... :-)
I'll start by wishing Werder the best against Barca next week. I really hope they can win!
Someone posted a little while back that Mainz is trying to get Zidan back? Any more info on this?
Also, living in the states, it's hard to get news on whats going on with Zidan, and most news is outdated. I think technically he's as good a player as anyone, but he doesn't seem to get much opportunity at WB (I know he's recovering from injury now). But it seems a waste not to use this guy. He was clearly the best player in the Danish league. Any thoughts?
p.s.- Anyone know where to find Zidan jersey's?
