I don't think I'm supposed to post the whole transcript here, but one thing I found interested was....

Nils Eckhardt(Marshfield MA): You're having a very succesful season in the MLS have you thought aout trying for the Welsh National Team?

Andy Dorman: Yeah, I've thought of it. But the problem is the way the UK citizenship system is set up. To make a long story short, I'm not eligible to play for Wales.

No thats not it but it leads into...

Ben (Easton Ma): Would you ever consider changing to a US citizen if there was interest for you on the national team?

Andy Dorman: Yes, for sure. You can get dual citizenship in US and Britain. It's an option I'm looking into for the future.

That would be cool...

I like how nitwit DC fans trolled both this and the Twellman chats.

My favorite, though:
Wade (Turkey): Whats the best goal you have every scored?

SportsNation Andy Dorman: (2:11 PM ET ) Probably a free kick I scored in college against Boston College.

BC, DC, they're the same thing to you this weekend, pal.

That's nice to hear. Andy Dorman is a quality player who would give the US another option at the holding midfield position. He has his green card, so the wheels should be in motion.

It might mean he wants to stick around in the good ole USA for a while.

Maybe we can cross him off the list of potential overseas targets.

The word has been out for awhile that he has some good reason(s) to stay in the US. Obviously he will be negotiating a new contract at the same time there may be offers from Celtic etc. He's in a very good bargening position. I'm betting he stays in the USA.

Buzzmaster: We've got Andy. Let's get started!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick Coffman (Louisville): What do you do for entertainment while on the road?

Andy Dorman: We just play Playstation a lot of the time. We relax in the hotel room. Sometimes if we have the energy, we go out to the movies the night before and see whatever movies came out that week. Sometimes, if there are other MLS games on or English Premiere League games on, we'll watch them as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jan (Boston, MA): Hey Andy, is Dempsey training at all? Does it look like he will play?

Andy Dorman: I'm not too sure, to be honest. He has been training a little bit. But I'm not too sure about him playing the weekend. It's a day by day thing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jim (Upstate NY): Your performance this season has been spectacular. Was it just a matter of experience or is there a specific aspect of your game that you improved to raise your form since last year?

Andy Dorman: Yeah, pretty much just experience, being out there every day. I felt I could have done the same thing last year. This year, I've managed to stay out there every week. You get into the routine of playing every week.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nils Eckhardt(Marshfield MA): You're having a very succesful season in the MLS have you thought aout trying for the Welsh National Team?

Andy Dorman: Yeah, I've thought of it. But the problem is the way the UK citizenship system is set up. To make a long story short, I'm not eligible to play for Wales.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mark (Columbus, OH): Are you looking to play in Europe at some point and are you aware of any interest European clubs have in you?

Andy Dorman: Yeah, I'm definitely interested in playing back in Europe. That's where I'm from. I'm not sure if there's a club that's interested, but when you get more exposure, the more teams will be interested in you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wayne G., Brooklyn, NY: Andy, how would you describe the play in MLS? How would you say it compares to the leagues overseas?

Andy Dorman: Obviously, it's its own league with its own style. Depending on where the game's played and what time of year, the style changes. This time of year, it's a quicker style more like the European game. In the summer, it's a slower game, like South American style because of the heat. As far as standards, go, they're pretty similar.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wes (Dallas): Do you think the MLS should switch to a single table?

Andy Dorman: Eventually. I don't think it's quite the right time yet. I don't think there are enough teams to do it just yet. For the moment, the two leagues is fine. It would be a good thing to make it just one table with the top 2 qualifying for the Cup.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ben (Easton Ma): Would you ever consider changing to a US citizen if there was interest for you on the national team?

Andy Dorman: Yes, for sure. You can get dual citizenship in US and Britain. It's an option I'm looking into for the future.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris (Madison, WI): There really aren't that many European players in MLS. What draws you to the league and what do you see for the future of MLS? Do you see it ever comparing with the Premier League in Europe.

Andy Dorman: The reason I ended up playing in the MLS is because I came up through the US college system. I didn't do anything about going home to play right away, because the offer came from the MLS. In order to get the players from Europe to come over here is to pay them the money that they get over there. It's going to be a while before the wages are the same. Eventually, I see the European players coming over here, but it won't be until the money comes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wade (Turkey): Whats the best goal you have every scored?

Andy Dorman: Probably a free kick I scored in college against Boston College.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todd Baltimore, MD: How bad do expect to lose to DC United? I saw the final score will be 3-1 DC. Good luck, you will need it.

Andy Dorman: What else can you say to that?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack (Foxborough): Can you talk about why you came to the US and how it helped you?

Andy Dorman: The reason I came over was for education to come to a university in America. With that, the soccer program was pretty serious and training like a professional. Plus being in the city of Boston was great. From there I just moved on to the MLS. It prepares you for playing soccer professionally. As soon as you came over, they put you on a weight program and get you in the best shape you can possibly be in.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phillip (Lima Peru): If you could change positions what position would you play?

Andy Dorman: I played a couple of positions this year already, but if I could pick, probably center forward, I guess.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jerry (Newfoundland): Who is your favorite soccer player ever?

Andy Dorman: That's a tough question. Maybe Paul Gascoigne or Steven Gerrard. There are a lot.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ned (Moscow): Where did your soccer career begin?

Andy Dorman: In terms of organized games, I was 8 years old. I played for my local club back home.

Andy Dorman: Thanks a lot for the support and hopefully we can play well over the weekend and get to the MLS cup final.

It was the best of questioning. It was the worst of questioning.

I guess he wasn't teached to read good in Baltimore. John Kerry thinks he belongs in Iraq.

I was referring to a very recent comment he made where even his fellow democrats are telling him to shut the hell up. I'm not surprised if the local press is ignoring it.

These guys heard him:

When both parties are telling Kerry "shut up you loser", is it really a political comment?

My mind is still frosted with hate from last week, so I almost forgot:

My old man, said be a DC fan
I said bollocks, you are scum (you are scum)
I'd rather watch a porn
With Hillary Clinton in it
Than be a DC fan for just one minute!

What part of "no politics" are you missing? "Bea Arthur" fits the meter of that song pretty well, y'know.

Hillary operates out of DC and may be president one day. Many people won't know who Bea Arthur is ten years from now.

So what?.
Famous name. Recognizable by nearly everybody. Scary to think of naked.

Hey, if this were 1982, I'd have put Margret Thatcher in there and thought nothing of it. She was another famous woman whose sexual undesireableness was universal.

As for some current alternatives who work in DC:

* Some arab leaders dig Condoleeza Rice's legs and she'll be forgotten in a few years.

* Barbara Bush isn't current enough

* Nancy Pelosi won't be a big enough name until next year's SOTUA and is kind of cute.

* I already forgot that guy's name who was cyberstalking his page (not that I would go anywhere that sick).

The fact that Hillary also scares about 45% percent of america adds that certain gravitas which makes the line golden. The alliteration of "Hillary Clinton in it" is also wicked sweet.

So, in summation, Simon and Simon are not brothers in real life; only on television.
