DC Ticket Update

Sorry for this folks, I really do apologize.

Here's the current status, the section DC wants to put us in holds 126. Between us, family, friends, etc, we're looking at over than number.

So they have to find us another section. Craig's fought for us to be in the 300s, and I do appreciate it. He wants us to have the best security they can provide but also not hide the away fans (I mean c'mon, we're much better looking than the DC fans).

So it's a still ongoing process. Tickets will be $30, that part is all set.

They're going to set up a site for us to order our tickets (it's something like a $0.25 cent charge per ticket), and everyone can order their own. I'll keep ticket information updated here.

Once I let you know that site is up and running, please either PM me or respond here and I'll get in touch with everyone to give them the site.

PLEASE DO NOT PASS THAT SITE to anyone! That site is reserved for our section and if that section gets out, people we don't want could get into our section, so be smart!

OK, the seating assignment is set in Section 328.

There are approximately 160 seats apparently. 75 will be taken by the Revs for family/friends. The rest are ours for a couple of days.

The plan will probably be to have the Riders/Rev Army towards the back of the section (or to one side of the section, which is my preference) and the families take the other. If we can get the families to sit towards 329 and we stand towards 327, we won't have a problem with the drums being right in their ears, and they'll be able to see as well.

Just so you know -- that seating chart posted above is a bit out of date (no one sits directly behind the north goal anymore, for instance). As Clint Dempsey so kindly reminded us last year, baseball has screwed up the whole field a bit. Your section should still be more or less where it is on the other one, but here's the current seating chart just in case:

Don't really know if this is a positive or negative for you. You will definitely be jammed in if the attendance is anything close to last week - this is the section they used to put the visitors in before MLS stepped in and started segregating the fans.

Banners will be out of the question and flags may be a bit of a problem if others in the 300 complain (although I doubt that is likely if Monty's idea of having the hardcore flag wavers towards the back and 327 bears out).

I have sat in the upper deck before (including WC '94) and think the view is nice and would give you room to spread out.

Also - I know Monty is working with the DC FO but if you can get parking together in Lot 3 and walk in and out together it would cut down on possible problems.
