Nice words from Wenger about Fergie. Probably fair to say that if both teams were still disputing the title we would not be hearing stuff like this from either of them though!

"I believe it would be very difficult for him (Ferguson) to quit football, because it is an addiction when you stay in that sport so long," he told France Football.

"I am happy he has decided to go on. I am happy because I know against who I have to fight.

"I know I will face a Manchester United team difficult to defeat.

"I will miss our rivalry if he would leave. I don't believe there is another rivalry comparable to ours in English football.

"Our mental duels keep me awake. His only weakness is to believe he has no weakness. Football is dear to his heart."

"When we meet sometimes in an airport or Uefa meetings we don't fight! Those meetings are even funny," he continued. "When there is no match, we have exciting talks about football.

"There is no bitterness in our relationship. I don't know the man, but I respect the coach."

Thats only because they won at OT. If we beat them at UAE stadium :D .... Wenger will be crying about something. I feel the love only as long as Arsenal are winning...... Hopefully it will stop... I hate the gunners. :)

My favorite is when Wenger plays side not as technical as Arsenal and then complain that they didn't play "beautiful football". WTF, does he expect teams like Bolton or Everton to say "The hell with it, let's play pure attack" and then wait to get hammered like Reading did? What an idiot. Not to mention my favorite Wenger line ever, "I did not see that".

Hey! I don't see things all the time. You never know when some pretty girl catches your eye, and then you turn around but you have already missed something.

Hey, this thread was supposed to be about feeling the love between the two managers of the only English teams worth watching.
Can't we all agree to direct the negative vibes at our common enemy?

But Arsenal are annoying bastards whereas CSKA are ignorable. Wenger pisses me off a lot more than Mourinho. Mourinho whines so much it's just funny. Also I'd like to point out that Thierry Henry is an arrogant whining twat.

Actually, if I wanted a Mourinho picture then this one is better, but I have some firewall issues accessing it (pesky work PC).

The Fergie fan club just keeps growing... Now Benitez is praising him.

He probably did it as much to piss off the "special one" (Mourinho) as to praise Fergie.
