I'm watching via Setanta Broadband. This would be a nice time to halt our mini-slide.

Great Game.

Tugiiiiii

75' (1 - 0) Tugay Kerimoğlu (Blackburn) scores!
Blackburn Rovers FC left it late to claim a winner on Matchday 1 and take the lead late-on tonight as Tugay Kerimoğlu shows great control to take down the ball with his right foot, turn and fire an unstoppable drive high into the net from 20 metres.

Jeffers

89' (2 - 0) Jeffers (Blackburn) scores from the penalty spot.
Former Everton FC striker Francis Jeffers hammers a penalty straight down the middle of the goal to seal Blackburn's victory and leave them top of Group E barring a miracle here at Ewood Park. The spot-kick was awarded after Morten Gamst Pedersen was upended by Reto Zanni.

McCarthy

90'+2' (3 - 0) McCarthy (Blackburn) scores!
The Premiership side make absolutely sure of the three points and Jeffers is involved again, crossing from the right for Paul Gallagher to fire in a shot that is fumbled by FC Basel 1893 goalkeeper Franco Contanzo, allowing Benni McCarthy to lash in the loose ball.

The final whistle is blown.

i celebrated just to warm my self up because it was that cold my toes and fingers were num but great finish from tugay which set us on our way but in the first half we could of been 2 or 3 down and were lucky if it wernt for brad.Anyway i would like to wish brad good look because i heard he might have become a dad last night and just think if he has a son and starts playing football he could play for england.

Great performance in the second half, but I fear we may well become side-tracked with Europe on our minds, and may neglect our Premiership duties.
