caught the last set of the Korea - Costa Rica game, during lunch.
Korea won 3 sets to 0. IIRCC 1st Set 25-16, 2nd set 25-15, 3rd set 25-17.
Fell in love with these girls on how good they were and how they dominated. Some of the Korean players are only 17!

if you say so. dont know the ins and outs of Womens World Volleyball, but there were two Polish players that were very good, Pycia and Podolec, and was good enough to beat S.Korea 3-2 on the day in this tournament. S.Korean players never gave up and at 2-2 i was hoping they could win. The commentator mentioned both teams had made significant changes in their squads. Personally, thought Korea was relying too much on some the 17yr old high school youngsters.
Polish coach Klos:
I am very happy to win and take revenge against Korea after losing to them in the World Grand Prix this year

Note of interest, saw a few minutes of Cuba (ranking ?) - Egypt (12) match, and noticed that 3-4 Egyptian players wearing head scarves and long leggings under their shorts, whilst other Egyptian players were wearing the usual shorts and no scarves.
Thought it was a nice example of freedom of choice. Glad to see religion is not getting in the way for some of these female athletes.
