This was probably covered b4 the crash but I'll ask it again anyway.

How do the B teams work? What can and can't they do etc.

For example, if Mallorca B are in 2nd division and the A side get relegated does the B team get relegated to 3rd Division aswell? How do the B teams compete in the Coppa Del Rey (sp?). Can they qualify for Europe if they win the cup.

And how effective are they as feeder cubs. Did Raul, Morientes, Puyol etc. come from the B sides?

I asked the same not much ago, and yes according to our posters in situ ;) the B team ALWAYS will play one division lower than the A team.


How do the B teams compete in the Coppa Del Rey (sp?).

Copa Del Rey is played between ALL the teams in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Categories.



Can they qualify for Europe if they win the cup.


UEFA allows to play the UEFA Cup when "x" team:

A)wins the Cup or

B) (and depending the seedings) finished between
the 4th and 7th place in the standings.



And how effective are they as feeder cubs. Did Raul, Morientes, Puyol etc. come from the B sides?


The majority of the stars are homegrown talent although there are a few ones playing in the opponent's team ;)
