Loyal Fusion fan reporting, Sir.

Here waiting for the return of our beloved Fusion and Ray Hudson and Co.

PS: Can anyone question Afusionados are/were the most passionate fans of MLS futbol in league history. No metion that league administrators ripped our hearts out by eliminating our team at its peak.

Well's be back just wait and see. The Miami Fusion WILL be back! I'm not sure when, but when it does, that team and its fans will be the pride of the American Premiership. Every year we go without our team will further solidiify this inevitable reality.

Live in LA. Part of the LA RIOT SQUAD. Ain't nothing but a G thing.

However, I bought a Miami Fusion (and Tampa Bay Mutiny) jersey because, dammit, you guys had something goin' on. Yeah, you can still get them on Ebay...

I miss you guys in the league and look forward to your return in 2008.

FUSION 2001

If I'd win the lottery I'd end up spending it all on bringing the Fusion back, unfortunetly I'd probably be broke in a few years because of the whole single entity thing, but I'd do it anyway! Easy come easy go.

I'd take all those players mentioned above and start the new Fusion playing out of FIU's football stadium for starts... (it's closer to my house)

Let's all support education and buy the Florida lottery! We need the Fusion back for the love of God!

why not try to raise the money, or at least part of it yourselves. Sell futures in the potential Miami Fusion team. Each share holder would earn dividens when and if the team turned a profit. this could defray the cost to a big time investor who wouldn't need to put up all of the 10 million.
Hell, just get those 11,000+ fans to put up one thousand a piece and that's 11 million right there.

I'm here, still waiting...no interest in the MLS at all. I was a season ticket holder and has the MLS shootoout package on Dish Network. The other day, some of my freinds and I were talking about how much we missed it.

I liked the Fusion. Being a huge fan of two South Florida sports teams (Dolphins and Hurricanes) I miss the Fusion. I hope they come back, and come back soon. Miami is a great place (better than the ***************hole known as New York) and they deserve a MLS team!

Hi ya kids, hi yaaaa......

Wow, it's been a while! Good to see FusionNation still exists, albeit underground at the present.

The months have taken most of the sting away. I really went from being a crazed season ticket holder to someone that checks the standings once every few weeks. My 4 year old , commenting on the financial status of Ken Horowitz, said that the owner "should just go to the bank and get more money for the Fusion"....

I can't believe how out of touch I've become with MLS...having loved and lost, the wounds still fester.
...but I've moved on.

Would I be back at Lockhart or the OB if a team returned? You bet your ass. Here's to good times, past and hopefully, future, Steve.

MLS attendance average 13,800 ???????

Fusion attendance starts to look better and better
even Mutiny..

YES, Fusionmansteve.. I miss the Fusion, we all are ! I have no interest
in MLS at all. Interestingly, before Fusion was added to MLS, I was a
big fan…and watched games. After CONTRACTION, I am not interested
at all, I occasionally look up the scores, specially to se what DC/Hudson
is doing… but they suck
Hudson needs to be in Florida, beers and hooters, at the beach with a
beer and a cigar !!! that is ……,
what makes the “real” Hudson . I wander what is going
to happen to Hudson, if DC keeps on crapping out ???

Example of one more wrong assumption of the CONTRACTION engineers,
GarberNFL & Cronies, take what was good from the FUSION, and make it
work somewhere else :( it just did not work that way… Serna, Chacon, and
most of lads are gone, and MLS remains… remains as a inferior league .......
than ever before.. in attendance, soccer quality, and credibility

Fusion 2001
was just the beginning !!!
and the end.

I moved to New York in 2000 and support the
Metros now. I still wear my Fusion hat whenever I
go to Giants Stadium.

Note: On the north stands of Lockhart Stadium,
there was a guy chanting: super Metro, super Metro!!!! and the rest of the people yelled oi,oi,oi.
I never knew what it meant until I attended my
first Metro game.

Question: Who was that guy, and why was he
doing Metro chants at a Fusion game?

fusionmansteve
28 May 2003, 10:30 PM
No! He was chanting "zicke zacke, zicke zacke, oi, oi, oi...."

I believe this is German or Austrian. He actually dates back to Striker days at Lockhart...

p.s....he couldn't stand MetroStank.
