The article mention Dorman, Franchino and Ralston as all being injured but also that Dempsey will play sunday. Be interesting to see what the Revs run out for a line-up

The Rev's are tough.

Not only do our players have hernia's, they got balls!

Actually I thought that Nicol said they have big ones - maybe that's why they get so many hernias!

Y'know, I really want to make a banner reading "NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION: WE HAVE BALLS" specifically to be held up for a photo op with the Fort/Riders female delegation. Including Annika, natch.

Let's see if Dempsey has the balls to play another MLS match or if he's on to bigger and better. I heard he left the luxury box after the game and went straight home without even congratulating his mates. My friend who was in the club seats saw him go straight to his car with his girl by his side. So lets see, you start the season by punching your mate in the bloody head and you finish by walking on them. How bout some building some character Clint, you're still being paid by the Revs!

Let's not go here! My goodness, we can create issues sometimes when there is none. Let's see how his teammates work with and treat him, rather then us going off on rants based upon second hand information.

I guess I should be happy we got through an entire day of celebrating before we got this type of post.....

additionally, Clint scoring a few goals en-route to a league championship trophy will only serve his purpose, so who cares.

Greg Lalas (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/greg_lalas/10/30/5.to.go/1.html) pens a piece on SI.com about 5 players he believes would be a good sell to Europe (not the names like Dempsey either).

patfan,

actually if you reread the beginning of the article...he mentions the two best
players would be shalrie and clint...but thinks that their value is already high.
the list is 5 other players that would be good sells.

Sorry, I didn't state my post quite clearly. But I knew why he was ignoring the other big names.
